depends on how close you are. If you are right next to the track, i would not suggest it. If you are back about 1300 or so feet from the drags, i would say go for it. At 8 months, a baby is well formed and able to take a lot. You can even go through surgery and still have the child live after the 2nd trimester.
If you do, just dont go into the pits, but you can still attend it

I can see no reason why you couldn't. There may be some things you want to watch out for if you are sitting near the starting line. The fumes from nitro-methane fuel can be pretty strong near the starting line from unburned fuel emmitted through the exhaust as well as the smoke from the burn out. either of these could be somewhat noxious. The amount of vibration and noise is more near the starting line as well. Sitting mid track or further down woudl be better in my mind. My wife and I love the races and while she did not go to the drags while pregnant we did go to 2 Nascar races. Go and enjoy it......just don't breath the fumes from the fuel!

why not? Just make sure to use the sunscreen and drink plenty of water!
Edit: wow don't listen to some of these people on here, they don't know what they are talking about. Sounds are so muffled in the womb for the baby, she/he will not go deaf!
If you have any concerns at all though, call your doctor just to be safe.

No. A baby can hear pretty darn well at 8 months, even in the womb. I would avoid drag racing, rock concerts or other loud venues.

because of the fact with all of that hp ( approximately 7000) the dimensions help shop it sturdy on take off. The humorous automobiles have the engine in front , so as that they do no longer choose all that length. the pro inventory, would desire to stay close to to inventory in length. they might desire to be a door slammer. without the dimensions on a ideal gas the front end might flow up interior the air. It tries as this is in spite of the long rail.

When my mom was pregnant she spent everyday at the race track until she had me. No detrimental effect to me, however I did like the vacuum at night to fall asleep.
Edit: I'm not deaf either. And neither are any of her friends children. However, if you have any concerns you should call your doctor and ask him.

I don't think anyone here can say "yes" or "no". Why not ask your OB if its o.k.? I would think that as long as you didn't sit too close to the track, then you'd be fine. I'm honestly not sure though. If you feel comfortable doing it, then go for it.

no it could be to much impact for the baby it wouldn't be able to survive but if you were going to put the baby up to abortion then that would be perfect. I dought that though because you said that you were 8 months pregnant.

the fumes might be dangerous and the noises will make the baby jump around in you..I saw fireworks when I was pregnant and the baby was jumping allll over the place!

yes!. even at 9 month or even 10 month, i say 11 months it`s not OK. but it`s just me.
and the sound and smog at those events it`s exactly what the baby needs..so have fun and a beer while you are at it.
