Need to get a personal loan with bad credit (bankruptcy) to help pay for rent?

I filed bankruptcy bank in 2005...I need this loan to help with the last 3 months of rent (I will be getting my eviction notice soon but I still have time to go to court to delay things)..I know I am SOL (I went to my bank first to try to get a loan but got denied...) I am very scared...I make a nice salary just hard to get out of this hole...almost everything else is paid for except my rent which is very important...I don't want to hear jokes and things like that but is there any banks or legit ways I can borrow up to $5,000? :(

P.S. Don't want to hear any gambling comments (it's not 100% how I got in this mess but it doesn't help)...

Update:

Even if the history of non-payment of debt was from a few years ago...so it really is true that the bankruptcy will basically haunt me forever (or atleast 10 years)...I would settle for $3,000 even...anything will help :(

Update 2:

I am 34 years old...I can't ask my parents (only because they don't have that kind of money) and unfortunitely I am not that close with relatives to ask them something so personal...

Update 3:

I am 34, married with two kids (I am separated from my hubby but we are basically roommates...we split the rent $800 each and he has already given me his half for April and May...I used it for other bills foolishly)...so as one person suggested I can not just find a new place, there are too many people depending on this place (we have been in this siutation twice before so I know what's going to happen when I get the eviction papers and go to court)...I know I will NOT get kicked out, but I wanted to clean up this mess before my hubby finds out...I am trying to fix all my problems...I've been a tenant here for over 8 years and this last year has just been financially bad for us...living in NYC is tough...all I want is to find a legitimate bank to get a real loan from :(

Update 4:

Jeff...I have a "small" gambling problem :(

i honestly dont believe it's going to happen. no one is going to give you $5000 when you have a history of non-payment of debt.

I have bad credit and Bankruptcy as well. You most likely cannot get a loan any place..Especially that large! If I were in your shoes, since your credit is already bad and not getting any better, I would just let your rental place go and find a new place. Put your parents down as previous landlords and do it before your current landlord has a chance to report to anybody. Of course you'll still owe the back rent, but at least you won't be homeless.

the respond is specific. A secured very own loan against the home is available. right that's the seize. in case you have low credit, it skill you do not pay lower back what you owe. try this while the home is the collateral for the very own loan and that they're going to take your place and sell it swifter than you are able to say howdy Doody!
