Xbox live connection urgent!!!!?
I have to work early tomorrow morning, but I have to get this hooked up before I can go to bed. So please:
I have a laptop and a desktop connecting to the internet via a wireless router which is supposedly compatible with xbox live. It is not clear to me exactly how I can hook up the xbox, though. Should I:
a) try to plug an ethernet cable into my laptop and the xbox so that the xbox can suck wireless from the laptop
b) plug the xbox directly into the router or modem, leaving me with the choice to relocate my TV (quite difficult) or find some other screen to use... I am lost here.
I guess what I'm asking is, do I have to move both my TV and my xbox into the room with the router and modem? Yuck. Hope not.

even though its difficult i think you have to plug it into your router. If you have a cable it should work. if you are desperate you can plug the cable directly into the phone plug, that is almost guaranteed to work.
