COOKIE hon, I don't know how your finding all these links, BUT your doing one FINE job of it. Ya gotta keep getting this info to us on our Y/A's board. I never even heard of it, no mention of it on the boob tube news, news papers, from friends or coworkers, like zero, nothing, zilch, not even a hint.
I'll contact my so called representatives & let you know if they supported the bill. Keep up the good work hon, & don't forget to contact your so called representatives!

yet another person who basically listens to 0.5 of the tale and makes up something. McCain does not prefer to maintain the Iraq conflict going for one hundred years. He in no way pronounced that. He in no way implied that. this is purely made up. He did say that there must be troops in Iraq for one hundred years yet he has in no way even endorsed that. He purely reported the prospect as quickly as. i like how human beings attempt to tie Bush and McCain to oil agencies yet consistently forget that Al Gore's fortune all got here from oil. Neither Bush nor McCain prefer the conflict to final one hundred years. they have the two noted as for the troops to be bumped off as quickly as conceivable yet Bush did not prefer to set a schedule with out the Iraqi enter. Now that the Iraqi's are waiting to take over, the Bush administration has been discussing the timetable with them. the U. S. public voted out the "Rubberstamp Republicans" in 2006 and instead have been given a gaggle of Democrats that have persevered to fund the conflict they have been supposedly against with out question. an excellent form of solid it did.

Aren't we supposed to have government "by the people, for the people?" I guess that's somehow morphed into government "by the people and who cares what they want?" And why am I not surprised that Pelosi and Dianne Feinstein are involved in this stupid little plot?
I don't know about anyone else, but I feel we need to get rid of all these flaky politicians and start over.

they"re always throwing a bunch of pork onto bills they know we need. The so called fiscally responsible Democrats in Congress at work. I had heard the President threatened to veto this bill because of this. But, I didn't keep up on that so I don't know what happened or not.

They made the attempt but one of the major opponents of this "fat" Budget, was McCain............fact.
And yet morons keep posting statements that McCain doesn't care about the vets because he killed the Bill.
And has a replacement ready to go.................these are MOSTLY Democrats too.........Pelosi and her crowd actually accepted it.
Shows the public what the Dems think about controlling an overinflated budget.
