I will turn sixty five in July (The legal age for elderly kind of like 18 is the legal age for adult) and I do not know the answer to your question. When I was twenty I thought fifty was probably elderly but at fifty I figured 60 and at sixty I thought sixty five but as that day looms I think now about 75 is elderly. See, I feel just fine and walk with a crisp stride, stand tall and drive fast. I think it has more to do with how you appear to others than how old you are in years. If you take cautious, measured steps or use a walker, if you stoop at the shoulder, if you tremble etc. people consider you elderly even if you are only fifty. I have friends in their seventies and older that I would not want to get in a fight with, they'd whip me. It is all about perception.

it all depends on how the person looks, acts, feels, how healthy they are, their lifestyle... and it depends on the point of view..

a young person in their teens or 20's may think 50 is elderly but a 30 or 40 something may think 60 is elderly and someone who is 60 may say that it is 70...

I'd say about 60-65...and I'd only say "elderly" if they in fact acted "elderly".

And to the person who said 50 is elderly...LOL. Madonna, Prince, Ellen DeGeneres, Michelle Pfeiffer are all 50. You consider them "elderly"?

this is age discrimination because of the fact no longer all elderly human beings have impairments. What age might you placed the recent regulations at? How approximately sixty 5? this is around the retirement age for many folk so ought to we start up checking them then? the place I stay (Maine) maximum injuries contain white adult males. Granted I stay in Maine the place there are just about no minorities. ought to we attempt each white male each few years to verify they are secure on the roads? The data say we easily ought to. confident distinctive older drivers could be risky. So can youthful drivers (you assumed the guy became a "punk" teenager, initially). ought to we attempt youthful and older drivers in step with annum to verify they are secure on the roads?

20 years older than your current age. This goes for everybody. If a person is 30, they think 50 is elderly. If a person is 50, they think 70 is elderly. If a person is 80 they think 100 is elderly.

It depends on the individual, there are people who are elderly at 29, and there are others who are young at 85.

    90. If men and women have their mid life crisis in their 40s and 50s then it makes sense that 80 or 90 would make them old and no longer middle aged. My grandma is 59 years young and not slowing down anytime soon so I cannot think that being 60 makes you old.
