please someone have an answer I am so glum.....?
I've probably asked this question 5 times, but I guess no one "get's it" or maybe there simply is no answer, or maybe no one is around that knows the answer!
I am having a bad day with it! So I will ask again in the hope that someone can help.
I have a perfect body, my arms and legs all in correct proportion. However... and this is a big however, I have a fat middle!
I never eat carbs, no red meat dont drink and yes I did the cardio and weight thingy everyday for 3 months nothing changed.
is it sodium? as when I use diuretics it does help?
thanks for all answer... hugs xo
Thanks guys this is really helping, yes I did do all the muscle groups as well as focusing on my tummy. I guess I am depressed so maybe it looks worse to me?? but when i stand up its fine when I sit, oh my gosh... rolls :(

No offense, but don't let mere looks give you depression! As long as you are fit and healthy, who gives a damn? Look around...very few people are "perfect"...

Don't be glum. Tummy fat's the hardest to lose. And as many have said already, it may be genetic.
Three months is not a long time to exercise. It's something you have to stay with. It's a lfestyle choice that will help you always.
On what you've said so far. Yes, sodium retains water & congregates around your middle. Don't use diuretics, it's bad for your body. Not eating carbs is bad. Red meat in moderation is good & helpful.
In this limited space it'd be hard to suggest all the advice I've come across & the stuff I found that worked for me. Basically it's lift weights 3 times a week, do cardio 3/4 times a week & watch your diet. But you can so fine tune this & if you take the time to search the web/library &/or join a gym & maybe get a physical trainer to help you, you'd see some great results.
Here's some sites to get you started:
There's a cardio training regimen called High-intensity interval training (HIIT). You sprint & walk. Can take only 15/20 minutes a day, 3/4 times a week. It is the current best way to raise your metabolism & burn fat. Here's a site that describes it in detail.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-intensity_interv...
Also, to help tone that tummy try core exercises. A coupla sites:

Good luck!

Maybe this does have something to do with sodium.
I think what you should do is is carbs etc, a balanced diet, means that you're healthy.
YOu whould just limit the meat etc that you eat.
The thing is with weight training, is that muscle weighs more than fat.
So therefore, you may not loose weight but have lost fat proportion.
If i was you, I would swim.
And make sure you eat the right stuff when it's best.
E.g. don't eat bread before you go to sleep.
Y'know the usual.
Maybe look up some websites
e.g.
weight watches
All I can say is, make sure you need to loose this, you may be taking this all out of proportion, You might simply have a bigger build or muscle etc.

What on earth. Meat isn't a main source of protein. Along with meat comes all the bad stuff. LESS MEAT, MORE VEG.
God there is nothing you can't get out of a vegetarian diet that you can in a meat diet. The meat is no good.
yOu can get protein from other things like nuts, even if you're allergic, cheese, milk. I'm veggie and i'm a healthy weight, i'm hourglass and i don't care what i'm "missing out on here" I'm missin out on alot which includes risk of heart disease, Stones and the list goes on.,, because our system wasn't designed appropriately for digesting meat and i have good skin. I read somewhere that there are good carbohydrates and bad ones. Like Wholemeal bread is healthier than white bread and wholemeal pasta is better than white pasta. Exercise everyday. I think the salt may be the problem but a little bit of salt is good for you, Just don't eat too much of it ok. Take care now xox I don't kno wether being veggie has much to do with it though because you could be eating chips and linda mccartney Lasagne and that not exactly be healthy.
Just eat well:) and be happy.
It could be geneticaswell so if it doesn't help i don't know.

I think its the fact your cutting out carbs (our main energy source) and red meat (or main source of protein). Both big no no's.
There are two types of carbs - complex (good) and simple (bad). Simple carbs include white rice, white bread a white pasta. Our body cant use the energy in simple carbs so theyre stored as fat almost right away. You should eat complex carbs they release energy over time which means we burn them off, they include things like wholemeal and grainy breads, soy pasta, wholemeal pasta and wholemeal rice.
Also, eat red meats. Theyre very important. They help us build muscle which helps us lose fat. Instead of eating any red meats only eat lean red meats.
Also, you dont say what sort of exercise you do. But you should be working all major muscle groups. Not just targeting specific areas because that doesnt work. You get maximum results when you use all the major muscles.
Also, cut back on salt as it makes us retain water. Drinking plenty of water daily also aids weight loss.
Good luck.

The middle is the hardest to lose. Good job on doing the diet and excersice, your on the right track! Everyone's body is a little different especially on how they lose the weight in the middle. I had a hard time with this myself and i finally got it toned. I found a device called the "bender ball" online. it comes with a video as well. what it does is it gives you more range in doing your crunches and different excersices. when your on the floor you can only move up, with the ball you can go back, then up. it was a mirical for me! So good luck and i hope your successful in whatever you try

how intense are your work outs? do you suppose blocking out carbs might be the problem? sometimes it takes awhile to lose the weight. i suggest to do a more intense cardio workout. have you ever heard of body bands? there is a guy by the name of edith forstal who has a video on how to use the body bands. there are other people who have videos on it too but edith's workouts are pretty intense.

try and cut down on salt - sodium - by not eating such salty foods, but not by taking diuretics cos i dont think that will help much.
and drink lots of water - 2 litres a day!
try sit ups too.
and the machines at the gym which focus on stomachs.
