why do people call cindy crosby a girl?
sure he is whiner and afraid to fight, but why all of the effeminate and emasculating insults? just because he is hot, does that make him a word the rhymes with little witch? flyers fans probably started the rumor that he is gay. they did the same thing with troy aikman. The referrees are geniuses that throughout the playoffs made good calls on his behalf and kept him out of harm's way. I ike cindy, please stop calling him a girl whether it is true or not.

its not my fault that Cindy is a jockey in the baloney pony races. He is a woman and the penguins should be proud to have a gay teammate, and im sure he does manage to net some hot boyfriends, kudos to Cindy and I support his faigness.

I think you just had a Freudian slip when you said Cindy instead of Sidney.LOL I think you answered your own question! He is young and immature and let's the other team get to him. Not good for a captain and a leader is it? He's hot? There have been many "hot" players but that doesn't win games. He should show some finesse and take it like a man. I am not calling him a girl and the Flyers are like that and I don't care for the Flyers at all. Their fans don't stand behind them if they lose. If you are going to stick up for him, then stop calling him Cindy..LOL

What good is a rivalry without name calling?
I lived through the "Dead Things" era, where Philly fans used to ask "What has wings but can't fly?" and Toronto owned the Wings. The Olympia, then the Joe, would be filled with Leafs gear when Toronto would come to town and we had to endure the likes of Sittler, Salming and others scoring, then having Tiger Williams beat up four or five of our AHL-caliber players.
And half the seats were filled with Leafs fans.
Good natured insults are fun. Why not come up with some of your own for the Wings? I've seen a few clever ones from Penguins fans.

Because whenever people don't like players they just call them a girl. It stems from our youth, when pretty much the best insult boys could come up with was to call a another boy a girl. Its too bad his parents named him Sidney, too easy to call him Cindy. You really don't even have to call him Cindy to emasculate him. I have a female cousin named Sidney. Its all in good fun. Someday he may be looked at like another Modano, Yzerman, Sakic... but until he learns true grit, defense, leadership, and stops complaining all the time... he will be affectionately known as Cindy to non-Pens fans. Don't even think about likening him to Gretzky or Lemieux... no one will ever be that good statswise. Especially because they won't be playing in the 80's against crappy goalies with tiny pads and non-existence defenses.

Penguins fans like you are always complaining. I do not care about your precious crosby, i think there is a reason people make fun of him although I do truly respect his talent. The fact is the wings are the class of the NHL, and even though I am a Caps fan and personally dislike the penguins and crosby, they are a talented team who who has come a long way but yet met a superior team. Complaining that people are making fun of him will get you nowhere, especially not any closer to the cup.

first off Sidney Crosby. its because of what you said in the question he's prevoiusly hasn't been a real physical player and whins alot. however i've seen changes to that throughout the playoff and he's becoming a player who is not afriad of being hit or giving hits like he was when he entered the league. also alot of it is comparing him to ovechkin who has always been physical and wants to be involved in scrums.

in case you referred to as him Sidney in hopes of refering to him as being a lady you fairly wouldnt get your element throughout on the grounds that human beings ought to anticipate you're purely calling him through his genuine call.

You might want to edit your question so you are calling the hockey player by the right name.
