DTV transition?

I understand the issues with the air waves with the analog to digital transition. What I am baffled by is analog cable. I am currently subscribed to Comcast digital cable. Only one TV is hooked up to a digital cable receiver. I have 2 other TVs that only get the analog cable, so those 2 get 0-99. When this DTV switch over happens, does that mean I need a digital receiver box for all TVs I want hooked up to cable? In other words, when this transition occurs, am I going to need a device that you see here: http://i17.ebayimg.com/06/i/000/f3/4d/3f85_1.JPG in order to pickup cable channels?

Update:

The 2 TVs that do not have the digital cable box are hooked up to Comcast. We do want them receiving cable channels. On Best Buy's web site, they were talking about TVs manufactured before 1998 for sure do not have digital TV tuners. Well one TV is manufactured in 1996. We do not use the box for it. I am wondering if this will need a digital to analog converter even though it is hooked up through cable. Again, it is hooked from the wall jack straight to the TV with no digital cable box of any kind hooked up.

You won't need to get a digital receiver for your TVs -- Comcast will keep the analog signals for a while. You should be fine for the foreseeable future. In fact, the inexpensive converter boxes you can buy with the gov't coupons (and as pictured) only work with over-the-air (OTA) digital signals and don't work with the cable digital signals. I know -- I've already tried it...

God i hope not!!! we only have 1 tv as well that gets the digital cable box hookup (in the living room) We have 2 others that dont have boxes

i did hear that comcast is switching al their channeling to digital anyway. so i don't think we are gonna have any problems.

if we have to, i will just buy the converter box. comcast takes too much money from me anyway!

No! You will be able to continue using your analog TV as long as you have standard cable on it.

YOUR COMCAST SHOULD BE GOOD . THE OTHER TWO MAY NEED IT NOT UNLESS YOU HAVE THEM HOOKED UP TO COMCAST.
