  • Where can I download the REAL Microsoft Virtual PC 64 bit edition?

Everytime I try to install it and load 7 Ultimate it says it can't open this 64 bit hardware because the CPU is only 32 bit which is a bunch of bull.

  • Is there such a thing for HDMI?

Is there an HDMI switch or splitter where you can connect to your satellite receiver and connect to 2 TVs? I'm willing to have both TVs on the same channel.

  • Looking for something that supports a cable card.?

I am thinking ahead to my mom's birthday or perhaps Christmas. We have no need for a new TV. I just want something that can accept a cable card and can support HD so we can get more channels in HD besides local channels. I see Toshiba sells a lot of products that have recorders and built in tuners. I just want something that can accept a cable card and has a built in Tuner so I can pay $2.05 per month for HD rather than $7 a month for a set top box. I already know a TiVo has this functionality. Does anybody know of another device that might be cheaper? I wish there was a device that could just plug into an HDMI port that had a slot for a cable card and a built in tuner.

  • Can I leave a tip if I order pizza online?

I want to tip the guy a buck if I order pizza online. I have no cash on me at all. I was wondering if the online ordering system allows you to tip the delivery guy when you pay?

I guess I am also not even sure if the online ordering system for ordering pizza even let's you pay online at all. Do they make you give the money to the delivery guy?

  • Where can I find this American Idol commercial?

I was watching the Cowboy football game on Thanksgiving and saw an American Idol commercial. The girl was singing a song in a swim suit. She was ripped by the judges and she ripped them back. I was wondering if anybody knows where I can see that commercial online.

  • Why won't E*Trade let me buy index funds?

I signed up for the most basic brokerage account. I have about $720 in my investment account. It will not let me buy index funds such as the S&P 500 Index fund.

  • Does watching over the air HD TV require a subscription from TiVo?

I have been looking at this Samsung receiver that lets my HD TV pickup free over the air HD programming. I am looking at this specific device right here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8102... I want to buy this because my HD TV does not have a digital tuner, but it does have the 5 component connectors.

Now I am thinking about a TiVo. Their HD dual tuner model for $299.99 lets you watch free over the air high definition and lets you record. Recording would be kind of cool, but I can wait on that. So what I am wondering, can I just purchase the TiVo now and receive the free over the air HD programming and just buy the subscription later for the recording part? I don't need it right now for cable channels. Eventually I want to hook it up to cable channels as well as for over the air, but right when I purchase it, I just want to get CBS, ABC, NBC, and Fox in HD over the air. Does this require a subscription for just that aspect of it?

  • Is there a subscription for TiVo?

I am looking at this DVR from Tivo: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8386...

It records in HD which is really nice. My HD TV has no digital tuner. It looks like this will also let me watch free over the air HD TV if I am not mistaken. The main thing I am concerned about is, if I want to record shows, will I have to pay a monthy subscription?

  • Will an amplified antenna give me more channels in a rural area?

We have a cabin up in a rural area deep into the woods. Right now on our analog TV, we get 1 station. I think this is a VHF station. We got the digital converter, and now all of the sudden we get no stations. I am wondering if an amplified antenna will fix the problem or if were are going to have to place an antenna on the rooftop.

  • What is the better place to get a golf lesson?

I bought my clubs at Golfsmith. I see they give lessons there. They also give lessons at my local golf course. Which is usually a better place to get lessons, at the golf course or in a golf store like Golf Smith?

  • What is the difference between these 2 golf clubs?

    http://www.golfsmith.com/products/NK815

    http://www.golfsmith.com/products/NK805

Both have a square shape, but one is significantly more expensive. I currently use a Ping ISI Karsten titanium driver. I slice with it REALLY bad. A square driver would greatly improve my game. If it does not give me distance, it will sure straighten my tee shots. So again, what's the difference between those 2 Nike drivers in those links above, and will both of them give me more distance over the driver I have? I bought this Ping driver in 2000 for $399.

  • Is there a date cable and satellite TV transition from analog to digital?

I know the date for over the air transition from analog to digital is February 17, 2009. I heard there is going to be a transition from analog to digital for cable and satellite in 2011. Is that true?

  • DTV transition?

I understand the issues with the air waves with the analog to digital transition. What I am baffled by is analog cable. I am currently subscribed to Comcast digital cable. Only one TV is hooked up to a digital cable receiver. I have 2 other TVs that only get the analog cable, so those 2 get 0-99. When this DTV switch over happens, does that mean I need a digital receiver box for all TVs I want hooked up to cable? In other words, when this transition occurs, am I going to need a device that you see here: http://i17.ebayimg.com/06/i/000/f3/4d/3f85_1.JPG in order to pickup cable channels?

  • Does my HP battery charge when it is cold?

Last night I had class, and I used my laptop to take notes. I left my laptop in the car over night. I brought my laptop in the house this morining to do my math homework. I plugged it in this time because I had an outlet to plug into. I noticed that at first the battery was not charging. When I hovered my house over the icon in the system tray, it said not charging. Then it warmed up, and all of the sudden it is charging. Is there some kind of technology that makes the laptop not charge to save the battery or something?

  • Has HP ever had these kinds of problems?

There have been several manufacturers who have had problems with their laptops. Dell has had problems with their laptops in years past over heat. Toshiba has had problems with their hard drives going bad. Has HP gone through any kind of major recalls due to problems such as these?

  • Monster.com and Head Hunters?

I posted my resume on monster.com, and I am getting a few calls from recruiters who want to get me into an interview. My dad is saying that a lot of these guys are head hunters and just want you to get a job because they get commission. On the other hand, the employer also wants to hire a good employee. What are your thoughts?

  • Monster.com?

I got a call from a recruiter from Market Source calling me about a job with HP. He was wondering if I was interested as an HP product specialist working for Best Buy. He saw my resume on monster.com. I have 2 months of front end selling experience at Office Max and 4 years other work experience stocking bar coolers. This job pays $15 an hour. I certainly know computers well, but it just seems like I might be a little under qualified to get paid $15 an hour when I have almost no selling experience except for what I've done as being a cashier. I sell replacement plans, get people to sign up for Max Perks, and things like that, but I have no experience on an actual sales floor. Should I be skeptical?

  • What is is like to work at Best Buy?

I currently work at Office Max. So far the job is going OK. They started me out at cashier, and I have to take shop backs back to the shelves at the end of the night. It's really hard to know where everything goes because I am new, and I am not exactly familiar with what everything is, so it's hard to know how to categorize it. Is Best Buy easier to know where every thing goes since you are working in a particular department rather than being responsible to know where things go for the entire store?

  • Sam's Club Interview?

I'm getting really frustrated getting interviewed by places like Target and Sam's Club and drawing a blank mind because they ask so many questions regarding how you work as a team and bla bla bla. I look for interview examples on the web, and they're no where near what I get asked when interviewing for these entry level positions. They might as some of those questions, but most want you to describe a situation where you worked as a team, made a team a friendlier environment. These questions are hard to answer and I really need to see an example more like interview questions you get at Sam's Club and not for being the Vice President of a company.
