My violation question in baseball section?

I had always posted the question yesterday night. The question is "Baseball fans: Stanley Cup Final game tonight?"

The violation reason is chatting.

How does Y/A Answers deleted this question in baseball section that unrelated to baseball question?

You were reported properly. First, you posted a hockey question in the baseball category intentionally. That makes the "question" off-topic and against the rules.

Second, asking what people think of the NHL finals is chatting. Answers is not a message board. Why many of you don't get this is a mystery to me. You're supposed to ask questions that can have a best answer. Thoughts on hockey in the baseball section, or even thoughts on who is going to reach the World Series, do not have a right or wrong, or even best, answer.

If you want to discuss a matter, Answers is NOT THE PLACE. Go to a message board.

I not sure what you are asking but I understand that you have been dinged by the Yahoo Police for chatting instead of asking a question. My advice is to protest it.

Don't feel bad. I've been dinged many times for such silliness as telling a questioner just how stupid or just plain wrong he/she is/was.

It is called ranting by the Yahoo Police and I've gotten used to it by now.

However, I always protest such things and have won once, out of ten violations.

I will probably be reported by the Yahoo trolls and get dinged for this rant. "BIG DEAL"

No human at the Yahoo Police Station Answers Bureau has yet to respond to my objections to their unfairness. Many times, the offensive to me question, has been removed by the same robotic answerers at the Yahoo Police Bureau that endlessly repeat their tiresome mantras of we are always right.

    I hope they choke.

I understood it as a question and I answered it. it was not objectionable. Try protesting. Nothing to lose.
