Looking for a vine type plant that grows really fast..to go along a fence?
I had to put a wire fence up around the garden, mostly to keep the kids and other critters out, but it looks so ugly. I am looking for a vine type plant or another that grows somewhat tall that I can plant in front of the fence.

The fastest growing vine I've ever had is a evergreen clematis. It stays green all year and has pretty white flowers during the summer. I saw growth the next day.The 'funnest' vine I ever planted with my kids was from a sweet potato, it also grows very fast and is pretty-best part-it is cheap! You can get 2 plants from one sweet potato. Cut the potato in half and root in water( takes about 4 days), then plant about 6 inches apart. The kids love to be involved and see fast results!
Have fun whatever you decide!

Morning glory, but this is envasive in some areas, or hops, which are really cool and grow really fast. Clematis would be pretty. I also have an ugly wire fence around my veggie garden and I just planted a bunch of dwarf sunflowers along the border, they grow fast and attract bees, which will be beneficial to your other plants.

There's a vine called Silver Lace and it is just beautiful. Why don't you check Park seed company or Wayside garden? They have seeds and plants and each plant and seed in the catalogue is described in detail about whether it grows in sun or shade and even the zones it will grow in. Go to their sites and ask for a catalogue. It's free and they notify you by email when a sale is on or when a new plant comes in.
