I have wondered the same thing. I suppose that most Germans who were named Hitler, began using a different name. I know that I would.

"Alright, you just wait right here and Dr. Hitler will be right in to look at that tooth."

"I am Proffeser Hitler, I'll be teaching you World History this term"

"I am Senator Hitler and I approve this message"

"And we will now have reverend Hitler deliver today's sermon about the Hebrew's 40 year march through the desert."

"Don't worry ma'am, Dr. Hitler is on his way to help you"

"Hi I'm Mr. Hitler, and I'm going to be your new neighbor"

"I'm John Hitler, I'd like to join the FBI"

"Hi, I'm Hitler... I'll be giving you a message this evening"

    I could go on.
