McCain is very liberal himself... In order to win the conservatives he will have to go with a conservative. He can only get the "base" of the party with someone that leans more to the right, or some will stay home and not vote.

Hillary is simply a bad idea.

I think Sen. Clinton would take the offer---with the hope that Sen. McCain wont last through the first 4 years, she'll be right where she wants to be. Let's not forget Hillary was Rep. first, she's not waiting around for nothing.

McCain has enough problems with the Republican party without compounding them by picking a Dem running mate. That would be suicide.

Well, that would be another flip flop against him since he told Jon Stewart on the Daily Show that he will never pick Hillary as the VP!

It could happen.... who knows.... and yes it would be the best chance for real change... Both Hillary and McCain work with both sides and have accomplished a lot in Washington..... but both together we could have good changes that are needed....

I think Hillary should have run for the republican nomination. She was a Republican in Collage and she is close with the Bush Family.

It might work for her much better and she might be more believable.

I don't care whether he picks her or not, though I'm pretty darned sure that she would never do that.
