If you don't have b.powder...............?

here is the recipe to make some

Homemade Baking Powder

1 tb Cream of tartar

1 tb Baking soda

1 tb Cornstarch

Sift together. Store in an airtight container.

    Here is another one...

    1 teaspoon baking powder = 1/4 teaspoon baking soda + ½ teaspoon cream of tartar

    This one you can't store, but for use right when you are baking if you happen to notice you are out.
