Can anyone show me where Peter ever mentioned the Body of Christ as an entity? Please read and check it out!?
Christ as the HEAD of the Body was taught ONLY by Paul.
Thus, Peter cannot be said to have preached the same gospel. He knew Christ as the Shepherd, the MESSIAH, the King.
Peter was NOT familiar with Christ as the HEAD of a BODY as this was a MYSTERY truth revealed FIRST to Paul.
The body of Christ was not even in existance until Paul was saved. That is why Peter never mentions it. God tells us that He KEPT SECRET the entire idea of a NEW CREATION until due time....NO such thing as the Body of Christ in the KINGDOM gospel preached by Peter and the 12.

Just because the metaphor of a Body was used by Paul doesn't mean Peter didn't have the concept.
Neither of them mention the Trinity, but the concept was there.

Peter used a different analogy, that's all.
1 Peter 1:22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, 23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,
1 Peter 2:4 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, 5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6 Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, "BEHOLD, I LAY IN ZION A CHIEF CORNERSTONE, ELECT, PRECIOUS, AND HE WHO BELIEVES ON HIM WILL BY NO MEANS BE PUT TO SHAME."
Instead of referring to Jesus as the "head of the body" Peter referred to Him as the chief cornerstone of the spiritual temple of God.

Peter and Paul had special callings. I haven't seen the Body of Christ referred to as an entity!

Sounds like a Pentecostal tirade.
Why not better spend your time proving something worthwhile?

Hello sister
You raise a few points. A lot of it is very interesting.
Brother Paul, we know, was a called apostle by the Lord. He was not part of the original 12, yet in God's soverignity and foreknowledge, He selected this brother specifically to reveal much regarding His Divine purpose and economy.
Paul was a special vessel in a way sister. Because of the training he had, his education, his broad scope, God could do a lot with him, reveal much to him.. Even our brother Peter said as much in his speaking regarding Paul.
This is probably the only brother out of all the apostles who saw an all rounded vision of God's entire universe.
He was taken to Paradise of Hades UNDER the earth.
He was taken to the Third Heaven ABOVE the earth
He was also given the revelation concerning the Body of Christ ON the earth.
Covering the whole scope of God's universe. Its no wonder God gave our brother a thorn in his side to buffet him.
Having said that, I just wanted to point out that the Book of Ephesians, this epistle that speaks of the Church in at least 6 aspects Brother Paul spoke of the church as
- The Body of Christ
-The One New Man
- The Household of God
-The Kingdom of God
-The Bride of Christ
-The Warrior.
Brother Paul, as you mentioned is the only brother who used the term" Body of Christ"
This is just ONE of the aspects of the Church.
Brother Peter, especially in his epistles unveil this matter very clearly, he just used different terms to describe the same thing.
Paul speaks of the us as God's Building and members of the Household of God ( Eph 2:19-22).
Peter speaks of Us being the Living Stones for God's spiritual house (1 Pet 2:5)
Paul speaks of us as the citizens of the Kingdom of God Eph 2:19)
Peter speaks of us as the Royal Priesthood in God's Kingdom ( 1Pet 2:9)
The amazing thing about brother Peter's epistles is that it condenses all the epistles of our Brother Paul and fits it into two epistles. It was only while doing a training in the epistles of 1&2 Peter that we were able to see this matter clearly and Praise the Lord for all the brothers who were instrumental in carrying out the ONE New Testament Ministry.
They may have been different brothers, but they all took care of the saints in the churches.
Peter was well known in the church in Corinth.
1Cor 1:12
"Now I mean this, that each of you says, I am of Paul and I am of Apollos, or I am of Cephas ( Peter) and I of Christ."
John 1:42
" He lead him to Jesus, Looking at him, Jesus said, You are Simon, the son of John, you shall be called Cephas ( which is interpreted Peter)
Paul was known well in the Church in Jerusalem
Acts 15:2
And when no little dissension and discussion with them came about through Paul and Barnabus, the brothers directed Paul and Barnabus and certain ones among them to go up to the apostles and elders in Jerusalem concerning the questions"
So sister all the Brothers were raised up by the Lord for " this Ministry'
Acts 1:17
" For he was numbered among us and was alloted his portion in THIS Ministry.
In God's purpose and Will, there is ONLY One New Testament Ministry.
This is the ministry that is corporate in the Principle of the Body of Christ. ALL the apostles carried out the same ministry to bear NOT the testimony of religion, doctrine, or practice but Uniquely the Ministry of the incarnated, resurrected, and ascended Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.
The writer of the Bible is God and in His house there are many vessels. We have been blessed by both the brothers Peter and Paul as Gifts to the Building up of the Church as the Body of Christ.
The discriptions may have been different..but the bottom line is the same.
Peter nor John did not speak of the Body of Christ.. Paul did not speak of the New Jerusalem ( this was John's portion) or of Living stones ( This was Peter's portion)
Peter and Paul and John, the main writers of the New Testament saw ONE thing.
Christ and the Church.
May we uphold and carry on this ONE Unique New Testament Ministry and praise the Lord for the portions of each brother who went before us. Their speaking, anointed by the Spirit of God, has always been with the View of God's Building ...and it is for US TODAY to be built up and edified with ..so that we TOO can be given for the buiding up of the Body of Christ on the earth.
We have Christ as our exalted Head in the Heavens and we are here as His Body on the earth, expressing Him, carrying Him, Giving Him " a place to rest His head"
We are here for Him, Just as the brothers were here for Him. Both Peter and Paul:)
Ty for asking this question sister
May we continue to love and embrace all that God has alloted and availed to us through the Body of Christ.
Your sister

Regarding the Body of Christ not being in existence Prior to Paul's speaking.. I would have to say that on the Day of the Lord's resurrection, we were raised up to be His Body. The actual speaking of it came through Paul, but that does not mean that it was not in existence prior to that.
In the fullness of the times, God revealed this mystery through Paul, but then again, He unveiled many spectacular matters through our brothers Peter and John too.
John saw the final consumation of it all.. the NEW JERUSALEM as a Bride and Holy City of God.
Hallelujah for ALL OF IT!!! FOR ALL THE BROTHERS!
