if it is a corporation all KINDS of things can delay hiring.. hr may be waiting for the next pay period/quarter.. they might be waiting for a new vp to sign off... the person responsible for the pay center might be on vacation etc.. there is no telling...

the only thing that bothers me on this one is they said to wait for the call.. makes me believe that is a "Don't call us we will call you"
