Who is the beast that was killed, after the Court took its seat? Daniel 7:10-14?

1Peter 4:17 It is the appointed time for judgment to start with the house of God.

Notice, that Jesus 1,000 year reign starts AFTER the beast is killed; vs.14.

2Thessalonians 2:8 Then, indeed, the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will do away with by the spirit of his mouth and bring to nothing by the manifestation of his *presence.*

Revelation 11:13 And in that hour a great earthquake occurred, and a tenth of the city fell, and seven thousand persons were killed by the earthquake, and the rest became frightened and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Zechariah 5: 3,4 ..This is the curse that is going forth over the surface of ALL the earth..and it must enter into the house of the thief and into the house of the one making a sworn oath in MY NAME falsely, and it must lodge in the midst of his house and exterminate it and its timbers and its stones.

Daniel 7: 15-28 interprets this dream:

    The Interpretation of the Dream

15 "I, Daniel, was troubled in spirit, and the visions that passed through my mind disturbed me. 16 I approached one of those standing there and asked him the true meaning of all this.

"So he told me and gave me the interpretation of these things: 17 'The four great beasts are four kingdoms that will rise from the earth. 18 But the saints of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will possess it forever—yes, for ever and ever.'

19 "Then I wanted to know the true meaning of the fourth beast, which was different from all the others and most terrifying, with its iron teeth and bronze claws—the beast that crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left. 20 I also wanted to know about the ten horns on its head and about the other horn that came up, before which three of them fell—the horn that looked more imposing than the others and that had eyes and a mouth that spoke boastfully. 21 As I watched, this horn was waging war against the saints and defeating them, 22 until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the kingdom.

23 "He gave me this explanation: 'The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it. 24 The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. 25 He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time. [a]

26 " 'But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed forever. 27 Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be handed over to the saints, the people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him.'

28 "This is the end of the matter. I, Daniel, was deeply troubled by my thoughts, and my face turned pale, but I kept the matter to myself."

It seems that this beast is a nation different from all others.

Dan 7:9-14 not 10-14. "I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of hes head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire." Contrast this with Isaiah 6:1-4 and Eze 1:1-28.

The Bible predicted that the terrible little horn power of Daniel 7 and 8 was to rule the world for 1260 years. It has been well-known for centuries that this little horn of Daniel 7 and the first beast of Revelation 13 symbolize the papacy. Also called the "man of sin"[2Thess 2:3,4] and the "antichrist" [1John 4:3], the papacy was definitely prophesied to have this power of 1260 years. When did this predicted time span begin and when did it end? Here is the amazing prophecy of the1260 day, also called the "time and times and the dividing of time", and "forty-two months".

A day stands for a year in Bible prophecy [Num 14:34 and Eze 4:6]. A "time" in prophecy is the same as a year [Dan 11:13, margin and revised version]. This time-span prophecy is first mentioned in Dan 7:25, where we are told that it is the length of time that the terrible "little horn" power was to bear rule and destroy God's people. during that time it would also try to change God' law: "And he [the little horn] shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws; and they shall be given into his hand for a time and times and a dividing of time." Dan 7:25.

This, in Hebrew, equals a time, 2 times, and a half a time. Using the ancient reckoning of 360 days to a year, 360+180+720=1260. And since a day is equivalent to a year in Bible prophecy, this little horn power would rule for 1260 years. In Rev 12:6,7 we are told that the persecution would continue for "a thousand two hundred and threescore days," which is 1260 prophetic days, or years [also note Rev 11:3].

The God of heaven gave this important prophecy in yet a third way: The little horn of Dan 7 and 8 is the same as the first beast of Rev 13: "And there was given unto him to continue forty and two months." Rev 13:5 [compare Rev 11:2], -- just as Daniel does.

When did the little horn, symbolizing the papacy, have this rule? The decree of emperor Justinian, in A.D. 533. recognized the pope as the "head of all the holy churches" [Code of Justinian, Book 1, title 1, section 4]. The overwhelming defeat of the Ostrogoths in the siege of Rome, just five years later [A.D. 538] was a death blow to the third of the three horns that were uprooted [see Dan 7:8]. With the year 538, then begins the 1260 years of this prophecy of papal domination, which would extend to 1798. In that year as the Reign of Terror continued in French Revolution and the Roman Catholic religion was set aside in France, the French army, under Berthier, entered Rome took the pope prisoned. The date: Feb 10:1798. The imprisoned pope died in exile the following year in Valence, France. A great cry was heard, "Catholicism is dead." The papacy had received the 'deadly wound" of Rev 13:3. But we are told that the wound is to be healed, and that time is coming when all the world will 'Wonder after the Beast." Rev 13:3.

If the story is accurate, the jury used the stresses of war as a mitigator, to not impose death. Pathetic. All the soldiers involved, volunteered to serve in the military. Furthermore, some 99.9% of all wartime soldiers somehow avoid such horrible conduct. All of these soldiers, together, planned this horrible crime. What, did all of the soldiers, together, all of a sudden have some sort of war psychotic break that required they plan and then carry out such a crime? It's absurd on its face. Yes, it was a death penalty series of crimes. Tragic and sad, made more so by the tragedy of the sentence.

Slaying of the beast represents the fall of Rome. The kingdoms or there cultures continued to be recognized in some form; history did not end when God intervened with his judgment. The one "like the son of man" is Jesus. The clouds represent majesty and awesome presence.

I am pretty sure you are not Jehovia Wittness by asking this question. Yes, Jesus will come after the time of trouble and we will be a thousand years in heaven. After we live in heaven a thousand years then will the devil himself be destroyed.

Much more than that confuses my mind.

Rome and the future 8th king.

Ten horns means ten kings, three are pucked, one new horn emerges.

"And the ten horns out of this kingdom [are] ten kings [that] shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings."
