Can someone explain to me why Hillary supporters are so hateful of Obama?
He has over and over again complimented her and never brought up any issues from her past. There are certainly a long list of Clinton sins he could have used as mud slinging, but he did not.
He always was gracious enough to congratulate her when she wons states. She rarely did him.
Even when she made a reference that she was staying in the race because he might just be assassinated like Robert Kennedy, he made excuses for her and didn't react.

So why so Clinton supporters hate him so much? He has treated her with respect when she bashed him every chance she could.
I'd like to add a few things... first of all, I am not a young kid, I am a 56 year old white woman with a masters degree who's lived through many many Presidential candidates including seeing John Kennedy campaign in person.
Secondly, I asked a simple question and I am appalled at the continuation of hateful comments. It's obvious that many of the commenters here have not done their homework, they are not aware of the facts.

I agree with you. He has never been outright disrespectful of her as she has done to him. It is foolish for people to hate him just because she did not win. Its not like their stand on many of the policies are all that different and to say that you would vote for McCain instead says that you were supporting her for all the wrong reasons.

Hillary's supporters are often older, extra mature electorate who've a appreciate for her journey and particularly some political abilities. they are not into call-calling and different juvenile strikes that seem to pervade the Obama camp. As a Hillary supporter I even have felt insulted many cases by utilizing the hateful strikes of the different part. looks they forget that a million/2 of the Dem occasion is balloting for Hillary and with out that constituency Obama has as a lot possibility as a gazelle in a lion zoo.

Good question, All I get is vitriol for my Obama support on my yahoo question I posed earlier.
The best candidate did win, thats how winners are chosen, rules are laid out in political contests, people compete for votes, votes are counted, delegates are apportioned and tallied, and a winner is determined. That winner is Obama. The DNC did the best it could cleaning up the messes the states of Florida and Michigan created. Obama and the DNC did not force those states to vote early. Can anyone tell me how many people decided NOT to vote cause they knew their votes would count for nothing. No no one can say with any degree of certainty what the final numbers in either state would have been. But the compromise was accepted by a large number of Clinton's people on the Rules Committee. It's not perfect, but to slander Obama is just not right, its not helpful, and it's just not sane to vote McCain. Yes, I'll end on a rhyme, because hating on Obama and voting McSame is a crime. :)

Like President Ronald Reagan used to say..."There you go again!" ....about that RFK thing....the Kennedys were in their
time a great political force, but their dynasty is over Caroline cannot revive it, Teddy has gone about as far as he can go,
Arnold is a Republican, but the Shrivers never fit in anyway!
Hillary. once again, now listen real close so you may hear
and understand...Hillary only used the instance of RFK to say the candidates still campaigned until June and depend upon
the super delegates to decide the out come...there was
nothing about anyone's assassination..only a bunch of mudslingers who capitalized on the thing...Can you grasp that? I thought not...so go ahead and vote whichever way you feel is right...at least you have this part straightened up!

I'm not a Hillary or an Obama supporter, but from everything I've watched on the media coverage, he's a bigot who attended that racist church for over twenty years, and during the debates, he did terrible he can't argue politics, he is a good speaker though. The media didn't treat them the same, they asked him real simple questions and her the hard ones. It was a case of bad treatment on Obama's part. I personally feel that neither one of them should be president.

I'm really starting to lose faith in the youth of this country. If you really listened to WHAT she said, it was about the fact that both Bill and Bobby Kennedy were still campaigning in June, that there was no reason for her to drop out before then. I didn't hear anything that even remotely stated/suggested she was waiting to see if Obama got assassinated. Use your brains!!

I don't hate the man! Holy cow, she was my choice for President! I am disappointed that she didn't win the nomination, that's it! I did not want to see him win because I don't think he will take the national election. Come on, he did some pretty slick things that weren't strictly above board & he was not always so kind & respectful of her, evidently you didn't watch all of his broadcasts or read some things he said in the news! He is no Saint when you come right down to it!

Because a white woman lost out to a black man. Gee, a white liberal face to face with all the hypocrisy. I don't feel sorry for her anyway. A true white liberal.
To quote the words of Malcolm X: "The white liberal differs from the white conservative only in one way: the liberal is more deceitful than the conservative. The liberal is more hypocritical than the conservative. Both want power, but the white liberal is the one who has perfected the art of posing as the *****'s friend and benefactor; and by winning the friendship, allegiance, and support of the *****, the white liberal is able to use the ***** as a pawn or tool in this political "football game" that is constantly raging between the white liberals and white conservatives."
We would be wise to pay heed to his words and wisdom.

Her supporters came to feel entitled to have Hillary as their president. This was the coronation they have came to believe they were owed, and he stole it. That is why they hate him.
But not to worry, the election is months away. Irrespective of their feelings today when they get to the voting booth they will say to themselves as they tirelessly annoy me when I tell them I vote Libertarian, that any vote not for Obama is automatically a vote for McCain.

I guess you missed Omaba giving Hillary the finger - it is on You Tube- google it . A real class act - NOT.
That is one example.
And this is an out and out LIE ...Even when she made a reference that she was staying in the race because he might just be assassinated like Robert Kennedy, he made excuses for her and didn't react.

Not nearly as hateful as Obama supporters have been of Hillary. Never heard of the good Rev'd Michael Pfleger and a Church full of people saying "Amen" to his hateful trashing of Hillary? Oh, please... get over yourselves!
