When sending a thank you note after an interview, does it need to be on a notecard or can it be in letter form

Update:

Sorry about the lack of a question mark. I ran out of room.

Update 2:

SILENT BOB: Yes, you are supposed to send a thank you note to your interviewer. You thank them for their time, you reiterate your interest in and qualifications for the job, you address anything the interviewer may have been concerned with, and you say that you look forward to hearing from them.

I would e-mail a thank you, but I don't have his e-mail address. It's a small, locally owned business in a small town. They don't have a website.

Thanks for all your answers!
