Can you believe what happened in Hartford, CT with the old man?

No that was absolutely disgusting. How can no one stop and help? There were many people even on the side of the street and no one did anything. And did you see the person who crossed the street, looked at him, and kept walking?

I really think these people should be fined, or punished in some way. Come on, how hard is it to call 911. It even works from pay phones. Disgusting.

Well according to my psychology class.. nobody helped because everyone thought someone else would do i (psychology of a crowd)

However, I think it's more than that. Our society in general has become meaner and coarser of late. Look at the way a lot of men treat women these days. Or the horrible stuff they broadcast on tv. Or how completely self-absorbed so many young people are (and I include myself in that category)

It's all connected. And the real tragedy is not that people don't care, its that they don't even realize it...

One car that was behind the people that hit him stopped for a minute, did nothing, then left! Outrageous behaviour from these people from CT, they should be ashamed of themselves!!!

Oh yeah the guy that was walking across the street about 5 feet away from him acted like he didn't even see him!! Unbelievable!! I don't get it!!

God that was the most amazing bit of video I have ever seen. My word if I saw someone on the ground hit like that I be there trying to help the guy. My word no one even tried to stop the traffic and warn the traffic. What a bunch they are.

Those are all Puerto Ricans living in Hartford. Us natives would never do such a horrible thing.
