Yes Iraq is playing a very big part in the downfall of our country as far as money goes. Our leaders could care less about the people because they have everything they need. It would be nice to see congress on a pay of 30k a year max. No insurance and then maybe they would get off their arskes and do something!!! We could have this happen, it would just take a building force of people to change the crappy politics.

A lot of liberals used to argue that war kept the economy humming. Nevertheless, the "recreational" war will keep the wolves at bay for a little while so we can have an economy. Once the appeaser gets elected, we'll see what happens.

Principle cause of economic decline is the cost of oil, increase in government social program payments, lack of control to slow the economic drain illegal immigrants have on the economy, lack of decision making to get rid of violent criminals for good and just keep paying for them.

I guess I cant blame you liberals for being so clueless about Iraq, since the media has gone dark on the war since it became clear that we are about to win it. Do a little research, the Iraqi's are almost ready to stand on their own, Al-Qaeda in Iraq has been annihilated, the war is all but won.

All Bush cared about was his own fear and resentment of Saddam Hussein; he doesn't care what else happened.
