DVD recording of Video Games?

How would I use a DVD player to record video games? I want to do this for a website that i have, but i don't know how to record other than using a camcorder. Is it possible to with a DVD player?

    It depends what kind of DVD player you have; some will let you record stuff on t.v.s, some won't. If you have the instruction manual for it still, look at it.

    Otherwise, it should be as easy as recording a t.v. program
