Y&R: Miguel leaving the show for added drama?

I so agree it seems like its been 8 years since we've seen him. I also feel they want to bring in more obvious help....kinda like Esther being the only one at the Chancellor Estate....(you think they would have turned the ringer off or maybe took the phone off the hook or rerouted them rather then have Gloria call ALL NIGHT like Jeffrey says he heard in his dream huhhhh) and I had forgotten about Miguel and Esther dating. Funny memories.

At least they gave him an exit rather than just never mention him again. It would be nice to see a montage of memories the Newman kids have of him....since he basically raised them (and Noah too)

(so yeah I think they were trying to add drama)

I'm wondering if maybe it was the actor who played Miguel that wanted out of the show.

He used to be on a lot more, but lately we were lucky if he was on once or twice in a year.

Maybe the actor just got fed up with waiting around for the phone to ring for him to came back.

That, or maybe he just wanted to retire.

I think he might be old enough too!

As far as the character goes, I doubt they will replace him with anybody since they really don't need to because it wouldn't be necessary to show whoever takes care of the house.

I think they just showed Miguel because he was supposed to be like part of the family, not that you would know by what Nikki was going to send to him as a farewell/thank you gift as Marvell Maiden already said!

I liked Miguel and always hoped that he and Gina would hook up!

They would have been great together.

I don't think Miguel's leaving is going to have any effect on the show. There is no way Vamprina is gonna cheat on Victor with a butler. I doubt Adam would look twice at the hired help either.

Lol Miguel need a live for a change.Lol all is live is being taking care of the Newman Family.Now is job is done.But lol u yea u never know about a new drama is coming 4 him. Maybe in the long run hope him &Ester have a storylines 2ghter.Cause he&ester2 deserves tha.Oh yea good question by the way.

It hasn't been 8 yrs, more like several months back. I'm not sure who they will bring in, all they have to do is say a name, they really don't have to have a person. I think that Adam is happy with Heather and I don't think Sabrina would cheat with the hired help, when she has old money bags to wine and dine her.

No we've seen him recently.

Victor had him bring Nikki's things to Nick and Sharon's old place when she moved in there with David.

It seemed like so they could get sparks from Nikki and Victor when she went over to pick the clock for him.

I felt bad they wrote him off,too.I always thought he deserved a story.He was on a few months ago to help move Nikki's belongings to Sharon's house when she stayed there for awhile,but it had been ages since his last appearance before that.After all those years of service and they send him some crumby clock?There's appreciation for you.
