What foods should i eat to maintain energy levels but also lose weight?
I work a very pysical job and train hard but i'm still over weight. I dig the roads five days a week. I swim half a mile three times a week. Run five miles twice a week and cycle about twenty miles a week. Also I do sit ups, push ups and weights in between that lot. I would love to do a mini triathlon but my weight is holding me back. I'm about twenty pounds over weight. I eat three meals a day which are pretty balanced but never seem to lose weight. What i need is an eating plan that will keep my energy levels high but still lose a few pounds? Any ideas?

Switch your complex carbs to fresh fruit. This means no bread, potatoes, or the like. Consume your fruit throughout the day to maintain energy. Lean meat and veggies for meals. Your stored energy will melt away.

many people are accustomed to the idea that more calories= weight gain, and less calories= weight loss, but this isn't necessarily true. i completely understand about having no appetite. i can never finish a meal at a restaurant. I literally have a couple bites and I'm STUFFED. no exaggeration. I eat healthy fats like walnuts, seeds, and dried fruit and starchy veggies like potatoes, legumes, beans/ lentils, and corn. carbs and glutenous foods are your friends: bread, pasta, rice. also drink a lot of fruit juices with cane sugar. coconuts, mangos, and bananas yeahh that's all I know. maybe you should cut back on the coffee since it suppresses appetite? I've never tried this because Isimply just don't have the time or patience to and I'm already at a pretty healthy weight right now anyway but I hear that for those who have non-existent appetites like ourselves, it helps to "graze" or consume 6 small meals a day. oh i would also recommend omega-3 fish oil pills. I believe there are veg/an options to this but I could be wrong good luck; hope you have a wonderful graduation and the wedding goes perfectly! you'll look lovely no matter what weight you are

Nuts are very good, they are healthy and have keep you feeling full for a long time. Avoid sugary food because this makes you blood-sugar fluctuate, making you feel hungry and therefore you snack more.
