I will be babysitting a 5 year old boy overnight.?
I will be babysitting a 5 year old boy ovenight while his mom is at work. It would be around 6:30-7:30 PM to 6:30 AM. I normally charge $15 an hour while babysitting but since this is overnight I want to charge a flat rate. I want to be fair to his mother but also don't want to be taken advantage of so what do you think is a fair flat rate? This is in PA.

Well, if you're not 14 yet then it's illegal anyway so how much you make won't really matter. If you're 14 I don't know how much sitters charge in your area, you would have to ask someone you know who babysits in that area how much they charge.

$15.00 per hour??!! I wish I made that much an hour! But anyways, since you are babysitting overnight, I would say no more than $45.00.

I would do 45 because even though he will be sleeping alot of he time, he is still in your hands and is wake for some of the time

Considering he *should* be sleeping most of the time, I'd think $75 would be OK

I would ask for $35.00 because this is over night.
