getting back to normal after suicide attempt?
after a suicide attempt, i spent 5 days in the hospital and 10 days in bed... it's REALLY time to get back to normal, but how?
what can i do to prepare myself to go back to work, so that i can face every-day stress without breaking down into pieces?
aside from getting help from doctors and staying on my meds, what else can i do to help myself get back to living my life?

try to take time no matter how you feel to exercise. Do things that you truly enjoy, indulge yourself. Do not surround yourself with anything negative. If there are any friends or relatives who are being negative you need to separate yourself from them. Try not be hard on yourself and try to take each day to enjoy life and try enjoy the little pleasures in things. Best of luck to you.

You tried to take your own life for a reason. Most likely, lots of reasons. You need some time to recover and heal. Are you working with a Therapist to uncover those issues?
Prayer works pretty well for me. Listening to teaching tapes, inspirational tapes about healing and learning about who God says I am . If I listen to the radio, it depresses me, makes me think of things that take me to place I dont need to go.
Pray for strength, pray for direction and for the right people to enter your life. God will help you help yourself.

just try not to force yourself to do things you are not ready to right not,just take some time out for you and slowly work yourself into a routine which will not become overwhelming to you.Try to avoid too much stress and learn to take time out for you when you return home from work,so your mind will unwind and help you be more at peace.
