What does Obama think Bush could have, Or John McCain could do about the price of gas?

I am still waiting for the plan the Democrats said they had 17 months ago to lower gas prices.

Well today Obama said we need another stimulus payment

To help people with the rising cost of gasoline.

Now me, I just don't understand,

Exactly what is the difference between suspending the gasoline tax,

Thus, making the Federal Government, shift funds from the general budget, into the highway program, to cover the loss of gas tax's.

And Obama's plan to take money out of general revenue and send you a check.

Seems to me, both take the exact same amount of money out of the general revenue and return it to the citizens.

You need to shut you pieholes. This is the United States, the strongest country in the world and Bush could not make Saudi Arabia, a country we protect to pump more oil, then he is a loser!

If Obama had created the problem then and only then would the question have any relevance.

A better question would have been just what is junior going to do about the mess he has made.

Drill a few more holes.

Look for a different source of energy/fuel.

Gather scientists and inventors to research.

Arrange better public transport for those who would give up their vehicles if a decent public transport existed.

More police/safer environment to walk and take public transport.

Hydro and wind turbines.

Candlelight.

Marry a sheik or sheikess.

Fill those tanks with vegetable oils.

Electro-magnetic vehicles, see the jetsons.

Invading Iraq caused the price to increase as it decreased 15% of the worlds supply. Plus if GWB had not borrowed so much the dollar would be worth more, and would buy more gas.

and yet Austrailians only pay 2.60/gal. The chinese pay about 1.20/gal

Wave a magic wand and increase the quantity of oil being shipped here.

Mcpain is like bush wants to be like bush and wants to continue policies like bush. Obama promises change. Its your choice.
