Gas Gas Gas Gas Gas!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why IS EVERYONE SO AFRAID OF THE GOVERNMENT????????????

ive been hating the government for a while now, because everything is going up. im seriously broke; i dont hav money 4 lunch at skool most of the time, we cant go on a vacation lyke we planned to this summer, because of gas. the public transportation prices are OD, it should NOT cost that much. and those workers are mad greedy, i dint hav my metro card once and that guy cursed me out and made me walk home. wat the hell, its because the government is getting greedy and as its getting greedier everyone else is getting greedier. all the people are getting cheaper as everythin around us is getting expensive.

its jus like in those old days where kings and emporers ruled, and at first they would do good but then they would get all greedy and start taxin ppl 2 much and takin money 4 themselves and then the empire would fall. thas wats happening now.

an its tru we are afraid of the government, i kno i am, because they hav so much power and i think that even if i did stand up it wouldnt make a difference. do u kno how many times i wanted to send a letter cursing bush out? but i cant exactly do that. i think the government has purposely set itself up so that it is hard to attack directly.

y dont u stand up then? wen ppl see someone doing it then theyll start too. y dont u stand up 4 them cars that run on vegetable oil or hybrids? or start a boycott 4 public transportation or sumthin, all this stuff seems outlandish but u never kno and the government isnt gunna fix itself.

Consider you are one of the only countries with the right to arms, why don't you go overthrow the government you don't like? You have a better chance than any others.

Honestly cut the crap. The rising cost of living isn't the fault of the politicians, it is you individuals and your insatiable demand for every product under the sun. You do know how market forces and interest rates / inflation works I hope?... or is this an uneducated attack?

You can't expect to buy a million gadgets and things to make life fun and easy, and expect the market to remain the same. Sorry it doesn't work like that, get out of your pipe-dream.

There is def something sinister going on. Either terrorists or the government doing a test. Lets see what happens if power goes out for no reason, let see what happens if the whole city smells gas, perhaps next one will be a public water supply issue.

government does not and should not have control over prices of anything. prices are based on supply and demand economics. if there is more demand and less supply prices WILL go up. the price of everything is going up because of the cost of transportation. the so called big oil companies do not set the prices for oil. the price is driven by demand. oil is also high because it is priced in american dollars right now the dollar is very weak

I feel the same way, but it might also be b/c people don't know where to start, who to complain to, or what to do if their suggestions/demands aren't met. Its really about being lazy and un-educated probably. Otherwise people would have had a hold of this monster a LONG time ago.

You know it takes more than us just standing up to the government. Those of us who have jobs have to have gas. Those of us who live in rural areas CANNOT walk to work or ride a bike.

So what have you done? I've cut down on my running around.

until they start selling gernades and rocket launchers at the army/navy store, I waiting just like everyone else to see who dies first for standing up against...... but then i really don't have it that bad, the problem with america is we live in fantasy world while the rest of the world is suffering.

btw, what do you expect the American government to do? They are already in enormous debt. I wouldn't expect them to bail you out of this mess.

hum i don't know at what point we will all band together, but i think we don't know where to start. and none has started anything. its like working for a large corporation and you could sit in your chair and complain all day but its not going to make a bit of difference until people band together like a union. If you decide to start this let us know

I AGREE! i think that it is not so much that people are afraid of the gov. they are jus afraid of the end result of them going up again them. i think that if we all stand up against them, they will eventually give up.
