Pennsylvannia amusement parks. Kennywood or Idlewild?

The family is looking to go on a day trip to one of these amusement parks. It's about two hours or so away from where we live. We will have people who want to ride thrill rides, grandparents and a 2 year old. We usually go to Cedar Point, but there isn't much for people who don't ride roller coasters and it is double the price of these two. Which park is better with something for everyone, Kennywood or Idlewild? Which has just more stuff to do? If you can, give some examples of which each has.

Update:

I am not in PA, so I have no idea where those other places are. But Kennywood and Idlewild are somewhere near Pittsburgh.

Kennywood Kennywood Kennywood!!! I love that park. It has a couple of thrill rides, the classics that you can go on after lunch, and 3 water rides that can get pretty wet (well not the log jammer but its fun) Its a very family friendly park where you can ride a variety of rides. Im so jealous of you but im going this summer ( i was born/ have my entire family in Pittsburgh but i live in Georgia) Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in Pa and never heard of either of these places. What part of Pa are you in? Is Knobels close to you? This is a free entrance amusement park and very family friendly. Maybe Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, Pa? I'm interested in learning more about these parks u mentioned.
