my doorbell got stuck in at the button and fried but now my central a/c wont blow cold, anyone know what fried

everything works but the compressor isnt. and the 2 copper lines are not cold. it worked the day before and then not. please help.

Update:

i thought everyone knew that the doorbell works on millivolts. the only thing electical in your home to produce such a low volt is the power that supplys the thermostat on the wall. your doorbell isnt 110 or 220. so the power is pulled from the a/c unit and is actually the same wire used for the thermo. i know all this but dont know the internal workings uf the unit. tks

Your door bell blowed the breakers and ur transformer propably burned. If u disconnect the transformer that controls the bell. (Don't mess with the transformer that controls ur central A/C) U can reset the breakers now. The A/C should work now. Because the electrician, used the same circuit to power the transformer to door bell. U need to inspect the door bell button. If it's burned...REPLACE it. Need to test the transformer. look at the side of trnsf. and see what it's output should be...12 volts?. If it's still putting out that voltage, u can use it again. 50-50 chance u have to replace that.

They are not even related, unless some clown wired your ac unit into a breaker that also runs something else in your house that the doorbell transformer was wired into and blew another breaker. In which case youe ac unit is improperly wired Check your breakers in the main panel . It should be a double breaker. Chances are your ac unit has just run low on refrigerant and needs a qualified service tech to have a look at it. And only 1 copper line should be cold (small line), the other should be warm or hot to the touch

working fantastic sooner or later and not the subsequent isn't a demonstration of a minor leak that is fastened with including R134a, whether you a approach or the different knew how plenty to function. something has failed and in case you attain getting extra refrigerant into it you will spoil the compressor while the present problem is fastened. in no way, ever, use those kits on shop cabinets. that's a job for a expert. you would be money forward - in all probability quite some it - interior the long-term. Compressor replace on your Kia will value $900 - $1200 in case you spoil it with overcharge.
