Why is it China is drilling about 50 miles off the coast of Florida for oil and we aren't?

Because we've sold them the right to do so. Do you really think there are no American companies drilling in the US?

China doesn't care at all what the environmentalists say so they do what they feel is needed not matter the possible damage.

On the other hand, we (the United States) bow down and kiss the ground of the environmentalists no matter the possible damage.

The answer just might be somewhere between those two extreems.

Because George W. Bush has borrowed billions of dollars from China to fight the war in Iraq.

Basically Bush has sold America to China.

We have a 200 mile sovereign and territorial region off the coast.

If the Chinese were doing that, we must put a stop to it.

But obviously they are not.

Therefore, could it be that they are doing that in conjunction with American concerns and approval of the government while ALL are abiding by our environmental laws?
