Has Ducati's FIT has just hit the SHAN..............?

Can you believe that Ducati are struggling so much, they have to bring this old fossil out of the bag ?

http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2008/Gibernau+to+ret...

Why not just sack Marco and give the ride to Troy Bayliss.

Who cares about the WSB title, Troy could miss half the rounds and still win the title.

Gibernau ? F.F.S Gibernau ? Prepare for the Ducati to start winning everything. Now that the worlds greatest " runner up " is back on the scene !!

Your thoughts please? If you can type through the tears of laughter !!

Hi Wiggysan. to be honest I hope he can ride the beast. and give ducati some real feedback on how to develop the bike.

I still think they should look at Nicky. I think he has a riding style that might go with the Ducati. it does not really say if there is an opening involved with the testing. but the Idea of giving Vale another round of Gibernau. warms my heart. throw Lorenzo into the mix with Stoner and pedrossa. some real fireworks. and Ben still to look forward too. Give Hayden's bike to Dovi and I'm in Heaven.

Oh Nearly forgot .... there is still this season going on too.

I think they realise their mistake in losing Capi as they have no one to develop the bike now. Capi and Gibernau developed a WC winning bike during '06 so as they have cut their ties with Capi, I think they are turning to Gibernau to try to tame it a bit! I dont think he'll race in MotoGP again though. I do agree with you - I'd love to see Bayliss back in MotoGP, even just for a few races :)

ps - thanks for all the Donington info - organised to the tee now :) Hope you can make it!!

    Hey Wiggy

It looks like the practice sessions may be as much fun as the race this time round (naaaaah! But still worth a watch if I can find the time!)

On which subject - I had to work Sunday so got the bruv. to tape the main race for me, however...... before I watched it on monday I checked my email and you'd put the winner in the title of your question you bugger!! >: o ( <-- that's me being an unhappy bunny!

Would you please email me to let me know you've done that - if I email you to say I'm not watching it live?? If I get time - or remember - oh bugger it - you're forgiven!

    laters lovie x x

p.s. it was still worth watching though!

    I'm with you 100%......

For the record though, I am no Ducati fan, so I say if they want to waste their resources on this never been (I'd say has been, but I don't feel he ever did much in MotoGP), then good on them.

Hopefully, it will help Kawi and Suzuki catch them....

To me the question here is, what is Macho's problem?

    Source(s): Watching alot of racing...

I always liked Sete. He was a professional and never laid the blame or pointed at anyone.

A lot of riders could use some of his class
