Science does not deliberately attack religion, it just makes it seem ridiculous.

"Scientists" attack Christianity and "Christians" attack science.

How can science be used to test non-repeatable phenomena. Did "Man" exist 7,000 years ago? It depends on how you define "man." If you define "Man" as someone who can record history, the answer should be "no."

When I was attending college, decades ago, C-14 dating was called an "absolute" dating method and restricted to 50,000 years ago. Now it is considered a relative dating system. It has alway been seen as such by physicists and extends beyond 60,000 years. C14 is created by bombarding the nitrogen free at the top of the atmosphere with cosmic energy. If there is less free nitrogen, there is less C14 created. Less C14 in an object indicates an older age.

Science does not attack anything. The moment it does, it ceases to be science. Scientists who take sides like that becomes priests of "science" rather than observers of experiments and science is all about repeatable science.

Here is the weakness of all dating systems. No one has ever tested them for 200,000 years... or even 60,000 years. The assumption that the forces that govern those systems are static is without proof.

Even the concept of time has its limits. Without mass/gravity, time does not exist, according ot Steven Hawkings.

But, then, the Biblical dating is also based on assumptions by some 19th century bishop. How long is a day if the earth does not rotate in relation to the sun... or if there is no sun.

Then there is the problem of randomness. If a pail of ice suddenly began to boil, would it be a miracle or an accident of probability? Science would say it was an accident of probability likely only to happen once in a trillion trillion buckets of ice. At some point, that which is probability and that which is supernatural reach a nexus.

I have never heard/seen a Christian attack any science. You are greatly misinformed. Dawkins was not a scientist. Evolution is not science. It is a made up theory, which cannot possibly be proven, ever. To deny this farce is NOT attacking science. It is speaking TRUTH. Saying that LIFE came from a NONE-LIFE source IS MOST cetainly NOT TRUE SCIENCE, nor is it even sensible. This kind of stuff is the attack and has no validity. It is just rants, from people who do not want to have to give account of their own sins to a Holy God. But nothing will stop that.

Both, neither side is free from this.

It is only because the clash of ideologies. And each idea and theory when presented, argues the existance of the others entities...whether faith, or matter.

They try to dismiss each other because while the two stand side by side, they will always be instilling a form of doubt amongst the masses regarding the other parties belief's

They are trying to cancel each other out.

Nothing wrong with a nice clean scrap in the schoolyard of life.

It's when it gets dirty that the true intentions of man arise and radical views surface as arguement.

I would say that Christians are more paranoid...they have more defensive fighting actions and seem to forever be up on the ropes...where they will stay.

Science proves more each day and religion is descredited every day.

I got my money on the science....more cards to play.

In all honesty, as a Catholic, I believe Christians spend more time attacking science than science spends attacking Christianity. Many Christians, like atheists, mistakenly believe that science is not compatible with God and ignore its validity. If you think about it, there really is nothing in science that can completely disprove God's existence. Even if the Big Bang didn't occur, even if the universe existed eternally, God could still exist. So I don't see any conflict between Christianity and science. I do see a conflict between Christianity and those who ignore science as a means of understanding the world.

    .Somewhat confused about your question.

Neither of these attack the other. The people involved in science and Christianity do the attacking.

With that, Christians attack science and the theory's attached.

Example: Evolution.Christianity teaches that evolution is false. According to Christian beliefs, "God" made us just as we are today. Walking upright, intelligent, humans.

While science has proved that we(humans) evolved from other animals.

    OK, enough rambling.

Science ignores anything unsubstantiated by evidence. It could care less about christianity. On the other hand, christianity keeps having to draw new lines in the sand, and will eventually run ot of room to back up, so they attack like a cornered rat.

Both. But usually, science doesn't go out of it's way to attack Christianity, the religious community just sees it that way. Christians are always claiming that "Science is trying to Kill God", which I know is false. I believe that Christians are too paranoid about their religion, and that since they see science "attacking" their claims, they feel the need to retaliate.

    (This is just my opinion)

its not Christianity that attack science, its the Christians, science doesn't attack Christianity, Christians interpret it as an attack towards Christianity, i doubt theres anywhere in a bible that says anything regarding attacks on science, but who knows i may be wrong

I think in general terms some Christians and not Christianity attack science. But some who put their faith in science also attack Christianity so it looks like a wash to me..

Christianity attacks science since science operates in reality which is against what 'the church' tries to teach.
