Who is a favorite golfer of yours...?

that you would like to see win at least once this year? I've been rooting for Sergio to win a tournament since last years sad playoff at the British Open - he won the Players, yay. And now I would like to see Camilo win something, a major or regular tournament would be nice. Also this week, I would like to see someone else win the US Open, love Tiger, but that's just how I feel.

Anyone who would be winning their first major. I loved it last year.

I'd like Tiger a lot more if the media liked him less. He's won a lot in a short amount of time, but the comparisons to Jack Nicklous were too soon. Longevity is needed and anything can happen. I root against him actually. This year was funny: All the talk (including Tiger himself) that he had a great chance at a grand slam. The first time I heard that, I said no way, not gonna happen this year. I was shunned at my golf course. "He's American". Yeah? Well, he's not gonna wih a grand slam. I'll take all bets on that one. Tiger folded like a cheap umbrella.

What makes me laugh is the announcer act like it's his for the taking. He's yet to come from behind and win a major. He's in the last pair, or he won't win. Suckers bet.

Sorry, just sick of hearing about Tiger. As soon as he wins from behind, throw out the record books, we'll need a new one.

Any first time winner of a major.

My favorite golfer of all times was Byron Nelson. He accomplished so much in so little time and retired when he had the money for the ranch. Jack Nicklaus has to be next for all his accomplishments in majors, seconds, as a family man and an asset to the game. From the current crop I have to go with Tiger Woods. He has accomplished much in a fairly short career and has the best game of any of the pros. The U.S. Open is a test of knee endurance. Whether he wins or not is immaterial. He is fulfilling a promise.

I dont think Adam Scott is snooty, but its easy to be portrayed as that I suppose when your ranked the best looking male golfer in the world. But back to the question, I want Tiger to win all he can this year, especially the US Open. I also want Boo Weekley to win some more. He's nice, honest, and a good ole' southern boy (like myself).

I would like to see Camilo pull one out. My favorites, Jesper Parnavik if anyone deserves it he does, he never gets any coverage. John Daly, all the holier than thou Butch followers who not only kick 'em when hes down but use a stick with a nail in it. Paul Goydos hes the man, gets his hands dirty wipes 'em on his pants and says its ok. Oh yeah, kick Nick and Kelly out of the booth. There starting to act a little to "Hoity,Toity. Who cares who you had dinner with? Who'd you sleep with Kelly? Who cares!

i really like Phil Mickelson. mainly cuz he's really one of those "good" guys. A few years ago, when the PGA was at Congressional he took the time to sit down and hang out with some injured Marines, sailors and soldiers. he didn't have to, and i'm sure he had other things to do than to sit down and have lunch and chat with them. real stand up guy.

for pga it is phil mickelson.....he almost hit me in the head with a golf ball on the 18th hole at sawgrass (im talking i felt my hair move it was so close) wonder if he would still be my favorite if he had hit me?

for lpga it is annika sorenstam....i love the way she rolls up her sleeves and has no problem being the only female player in the skins game
