Why do people wait until they're married to cheat?
Wouldn't it be simpler to cheat before the marriage and let the prospective spouse know? This would save (B/M)illions in lawyers fees evey year.

yes it would be better if it never happend in the first place, unfortunately for me this is the second time around for her cheating on me.

you've probaly hit the nail onthe head in my case. it appears that she 'fell out of love' with me, but didn't want to deal with it because she thought i may get hurt. h*ll, let me know in the early stage so that i can respond, don't wait until it's too late because your affraid i'll be hurt. now we have 2 kids involved.

sorry, the system only allows 1 thumbs up per user. i fully agree, at least half of the problem is the easy at which divorce is granted these days. you don't need to show that you've work to try to resolve issues, all that you have to do is show that you gave up without trying.

Some people are dummies! I think some people think with the wrong head if you know what I mean. That's why. I take it you've been cheated on. Not cool.

The perception of their romantic relationship changes. When dating, nothing is really set in stone but when married it finally dawns on some people that they will have sex with the same person for the rest of their life. They didn't know how much it would bother them until they were actually married OR they just don't have enough respect for their spouse OR take their commitments seriously. Too many reasons why it could happen.

The people that cheat after marriage were cheating before the marriage my dear. Don't fool yourself on this one. If you have no morals and values I'm sure they were not there before and you just didn't know about it. Cheating takes care of itself one way or the other.

Not all people do wait. But, people get bored sometimes in marriage. They need the excitement of new love or even the chase, I guess. Also, I think married people quit trying after a while.

Most people that cheat when they are married have been cheating ALL along! It wouldn't be cheating if they told the one they were with!

Not that there isn't plenty of cheating that goes on before marriage; but I would say because humans are inherently self-destructive, and cheating insise of a marriage has far worse repercussions than outside of one. One's subconscious knows this and drives one to do it.

Because you are not noticed until there is a ring on your finger and then people want what is forbidden. Then the forbidden one thinks they are the bomb and can't resist.
