What do you think of Obama’s new website to limit debate?

It's very typical of Liberal Fascism that is the norm these days.

Obama has declared that any question that is difficult for him to answer, or that makes him look bad, is 'unfair' and therefore off limits.

I sincerely hope McCain doesn't fall for this 'sensitivity demand' and rips this kid a new one in the debates, because it's high time someone looked him straight in the face and made him answer for his Marxist plans for this country.

Just because the general campaign started off much cooler than the democratic primary does not mean debate has been suppressed. I believe GWB is among the worst president since Buchannan which sparked the historic significance of the Douglas/Lincoln Debates. And the McCain/Obama debates are going to just as if not more significant because of the historical impact the next president is going to have on the course of not only the country but the whole world in general!

I do think his website was an good idea. The media and other people have been throwing rumors at him and his wife a lot. Some of the rumors and so on has been races or just rude. And if he needs to start a website to help him win and set things straight, then so be it. I think he's just trying to let people know the TRUE FACTS about him, since people have been hearing so many lies.

Mande's bizarre response about Liberal Fascism and Obama establishing the site to avoid answering questions and to suppress debate is completely idiotic. In fact the site is designed to answer rumors that crop up on the Internet so it is hardly designed to avoid or limit debate. Mande is just another hopeless extreme right wing jackass!

How is this suppressing debate? I think he made a mistake by doing it. This whole Michelle Obama, whitey thing would have died down sooner without the web site. If there was video it would have been shown by now. I'm not saying she doesn't believe like that, from what I've seen and heard of her she probably does but so far no evidence.

I think you are pushing it to suggest that trying to fight smear campaign rumours is an attempt to suppress debate. Why not debate issues?

Criticize policy all you want. That is what should be debated.

I think it is a good thing. It keeps people from spreading unfounded accusations about him. Why not give him the right to refute the rumors coming from Rush & Co. It's not hurting you if you don't visit his website so, why deny him his freedom of speech?
