These repeated tours of duty are killing our Veterans.

How long can we afford to continue fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan?

I spent four years in the Air Force, and their was one suicide that I heard about. It was alcohol addiction that caused it. Of course, combat leads to mental illness and addiction on a regular basis. I have read a recent report that states that 50% of the veterans who serve in Iraq and Afganistan suffer with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, or PTSD. Addiction and mental illness are two diseases commonly caused by combat, and repeated tours are the single most important factors. I fear for all of our Veterans who serve in the Middle East.

This reaction of combat veterans to ideas that they have not considered or been introduced to which seem to contradict or differ from there personal experiences in combat.

This intensity of opinion or interpretation of there own combat experience by the veteran is understandable, comprehensible and usually expected. This reaction is a result of experience in combat which creates appropriate and powerful stress and adrenalin reactions.

But it can also create misunderstanding and confusion in the mind of the combat veteran.

Lastest news reports of reorganized Squads, or treatment teams, set up by the VA in response to the reports at the Walter Reed Hospital in Washington DC that Veterans have again been waiting unacceptable amounts of time like in months to recieve treatment and Compensation for Service Connected Disablities. Some treatment team making Veterans wait up to six months of delays beyond stated and legal goals.

We know that Bush is a criminal. Well his rights as a ex-President secure his freedom from justice after 2-20-09?

Hints, not because or despite his being a community leader, lawyer, teacher, father, husband, Senator, legislator, author, public speaker, politician, multi-racial or being honest?

It is also the single most important quality that GW Bush lacks.

Let me tell you my guess at this time. Keane from Virginia. It looks like the Democrats are pushing hard to win the State of Virginia, and Keane would help Barack carry the State. Also Keane is articulate, successful with executive experience as Governor of Virgina. However, their are other candidates out their that could be picked for good reason like Clinton, Richardson, Reed, the ex-Senator Kerry along with Senator Biden.

Bush's five year plus Iraq War debt is being transferred on to the next generation of tax payers, This is not a workable or responsible policy? Why would John McCain continue the same policy? It seems the only thing Republican about this policy is the plan to spend tax payers money on waging a war of occupation, or could we say domination? Why do so?
