How could John McCain recommend Bush's economic strategy in light of the disaster of our current economy?

Bush's five year plus Iraq War debt is being transferred on to the next generation of tax payers, This is not a workable or responsible policy? Why would John McCain continue the same policy? It seems the only thing Republican about this policy is the plan to spend tax payers money on waging a war of occupation, or could we say domination? Why do so?

    It's a good question.

Clearly we have an economic catastrophe on our hands, and for McSame to advocate continuing the current Commander-In-Thief's economic policies is, at best, rather naive. At worst it is cynical pandering to the right wing fascists whose votes he needs to occupy the White House.

No true conservative supports what Dubya Gump has done these last few years. No true conservative would ever vote for an advocate of continuing the same exercise in failure.

What do they say about a person who keeps doing the same thing over and over expecting different results?

    Yeah.

McCain admits he would not understand economics and plans to encompass himself with powerfuble people who do. B. Hussein Obama pretends to understand and is easily greater ignorant than McCain on the region. the concern is that Obama thinks his Marxist nonsense will deliver financial prosperity while, in fact, it is going to positioned us right into a deep melancholy.

Why do so many people think some plan of the President has any effect on the economy? And why do you think it's a disaster? Katrina was a disaster. The tsunami in Indonesia was a disaster. Last time I looked Wall street was still operating. The only people having huge disaster type problems are people who got greedy when it came to making loans and we shouldn't have bailed them out.

LOOK IT UP FOLKS! Nowhere in the US Constitution does if give the President the power to do a thing about the economy. The most he can do is make a suggestion to Congress.

Congress controls the purse strings. Congress levies the taxes. There is nothing, not one penny, that isn't allocated by Congress BEFORE it gets spent by the US Government. The tax rebate we just got. The President made the suggestion to Congress and Congress approved it. If they had said no.

And I don't think it will make a bit of difference who get's elected. It wouldn't have happened.

You think that's a bunch of manure? Look it up. Feel free to E-mail me and show me where I'm wrong.

Because John Sidney McLame is a Bush Clone - he supporters ALL policies that are currently in place. Plus he doesn't feel there is anything wrong with the economy, but I guess since he is worth $100 million dollars, has at least six homes, wears $500 shoes - and still collects his social security checks - the current state of our economy doesn't truly matter to the old goat!

Bush/Cheney/McSame are all mad bombers. McSame even sings "Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb ___________(fill in the blank, any small country with OIL will do). How presidential is that?

Too bad for all the people and cities who get blown up, and too bad for the taxpayers who get to pay $10,000,000,000 a month to support this republican gang. And you wonder why the US economy is in the ditch..

The best thing that could happen to the economy of America is to replace our current professional politicians with people who have read and UNDERSTAND the simple words of the Constitution of the United States. Elimination of the unconstituional pandering will leave more money in the hands of those who earned and DESERVE it. The beggars would soon learn that can work or starve.

He's not. The war in Iraq is coming to an end and both McCain and Obama are in favor of sending more troops to Afghanistan, so there will be a war to fund for a long time to come. Obama's plan to raise taxes even during a slowing economy and to impose a windfalls profit tax, has been criticized by economists.

He's preaching to the choir. Being on Wall Street doesn't mean you're smart.

    What war debt?

How about the absolute failure and the trillions of dollars in social spending on the "war on poverty" ?

But I'll bet you're ok with that.
