Will the Democrats force the issue and vote in mass for the Bailout of Wall Street?

I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm with the majority of Republicans on this one. Any bail-out plan needs to be revised with the average American's best interest being considered. For a change.

The Republican administration requested this bailout as an urgent necessity and most Democrats are going along with it, with the revisions they proposed.

I don't know what the Republicans in Congress are doing exactly. They are trying to revolt against their own Republican administration and they are not being realistic. The bailout will happen.

The Democrats are not going to shoulder this burden by themselves. The Democrats delivered the votes that they promised and that is all that they are going to do. It is up to the Republicans now.

The Fed is keeping the system going by pumping hundreds of billions of dollars into the financial system. That is what is keeping the system going for the time being. We need sensible legislation.

In answer to your question, no, the democrats will not risk the political backlash that will surely result if they pass a 700 billion dollar tax payer funded bailout.

Consider, approximately one third of them voted against it yesterday. Polosi knew full well that she would need bipartisan support and she opted instead to resort to political grandstanding and try and bash the republicans prior to the vote - not exactly a brilliant strategy.

They won't do it because they're afraid to. They want to place the blame on the Republicans, something that Pelosi tried to do before the vote. At this point I hope that the Republicans stick to their guns and tell Pelosi to stick it where the sun don't shine.

It was only 12 votes shy of getting through yesterday and those could have easily been obtained by the Democrats, many of whom were told to vote against it.

They're cowards. They want this bailout, but want zero responsibility.

they will force the issue but not through voting in mass...this is suppose to be bi-partisan and if the Republicans don't get on board (and they will) the Democrats will start attaching other things to the bill that they want to get through regardless of what the House Republicans want and the Senate and the President at this point are willing to pass those sort of things through under the circumstances at hand...

There is plenty of money in the country. We DO NOT require a Wall Street Bailout. Instead of playing a Hollywood wannabe, where's Trump? He's always so quick to critique everyone - why doesn't he gather up his billionaire posse to the rescue?

Yes - unfortunately we are going to have to bailout these useless rich folks... So says conventional wisdom. The republicans are against it only because they're against any regulation which is in the bill.

Anyway, later in the week this thing will come up again, and at that point it will probably be voted in.

And help placed that incompetent HP ruining Carly Fiorina contained in the Senate to help the GOP's far excellent-wing time table, likely no longer. and that i'm no longer even prepared on Barbara Boxer, yet she is the lesser of two-evils, like in each election with her in it.

If they do they will be voting themselves right out of office. The people have spoken and made it clear. NO BAILOUT !
