Trivia: Who am I?

I am considered one of the greats in the game.

I have a silver medal from the Olympics, but that's not the only medal I have.

I have been apart of two Cup wins. It would have been three if I wasn't traded mid season to my final team.

If no one answers correctly in half an hour, I'll give another clue.

Update:

New clue: I spent part of my career playing in a different country.

Update 2:

Edit: Switch out country for league.

Update 3:

I was a captain for my national team for years.

Update 4:

Nice job Craig.

Update 5:

Craig: You got a typo in the first name. I'll still give you the points since you did get the last name and I can see you know what player I was talking about.

    Slave Fetisov.

He won a silver in 1980, won two Cups, and would have won a third if the Devils didn't trade him to Detroit before going on to win the Cup in 1994-95.

Edit - Thanks guys.....that was a good question.

Slave....geez, I didn't even notice. Slava was a great, great player.
