How do you help someone that feels left out in world and in the family?
I'm 24yrs old. I have a sister that feels as if she is left out when it comes to the family and she wants everyone to kneel to her every beggin' call. She is sometime rude and disrespectful to not just me and our other sister but also to our mom. Basically she is stuck on herself and only wants to deal with what she wants she doesn't care about anybody. I went all out my way to make sure she still had a car after she quit her job. But when I needed her she turn the other cheek and didn't care about me and that fact that I need my meds. What do you do when someone you care about only care's about theirsleves?

i think perhaps you have done too much for your sister and now she has a sense of entitlement on the family?
it was very nice of you to ensure she still had wheels after she quit her job
but can you be sure that cushioning her from the consequences of leaving her job without another one to go to was really helping her face up to the realities of life? or was she let go because of her attitudes that she uses in family life too?
i think that if she is not willing to show you the same consideration that you have shown her and after bringing her attention to it it does not change then i would just stop helping her any further.
be civil but don't give her any extras - she may accuse you of being mean etc (all part of the self centred manipulation) but hold to your guns. better still if others in the family can see it then get together with a course of action.

um thats a hard situation...but maybe thats y she feels left out bcuz she wants ppl to do things 4 her and come 2 her every need and doesnt return the favors. if shes being rude then of course shes gonna kinda get left out bcuz nobody wants 2 be around that.( and another coincidence...ur 24 and i have 2 sisters who are 24..yes they r twins :)
