... well, I actually havent seen that movie, so im relying on the info you give on this question to answer this.
I doubt that is true simply because the primordial ooze refers to the combination of elemental compounds such as aminoacids and whatever which was key for the initiation of life (according to that theory). so if you think about it, it kinda doesnt even make sense to say it was toxic to humans since humans werent around.
maybe what youre talking about is something else and i just dont get it cause i havent seen the movie, but by saying primordial, I assume it refers to what Im talking about
