On NASDAQ...?

What's the difference between Nasdaq "Listed" and Nasdaq "traded"?

f it's listed, obviously it's traded. Right?

You can see these terms in the Nasdaq Media Universe

Update:

But then, if NASDAQ allows companies listed on other exchanges to trade on it, isn't it a loss of revenue to NASDAQ? Since the company doesn't have to pay NASDAQ, as they're not traded?

Can you give a few examples of such companies?

If you want to know what I'm talking about, watch CNBC.

Nasdaq Listed means the stock is listed on the NASDAQ exchange. (Rather than NYSE, AMX, Etc.)

Nasdaq Traded means the stock was traded on NASDAQ. Stocks that are listed on other exchanges also trade on NASDAQ.

I cant find what you're talking about. lease supply a specific link to the example.

I can only assume it's creative license on the part of the writer, because I don't see any practical difference in the terms.
