What electronic devices do we have now that you did not have as a child?

Update:

When I was a child, my father brought home a guest. My mom did not like him but being a faithful wife she did not complain. He stayed on for many years often times swearing and using language that we were forbidden to use! Than one day he got married and she arrived, they is still staying at our home! She tells us about the world and helps us with home work and know a lot about this world. the problem you see is that we spend too much time listening to the guest and his unguarded language or with his wife. Sometimes my mom would call us for dinner and we would not arrive at the table on time because we would be too busy with either the guest or his wife! Now after these many years they have two children! the children are amazing!! they keep us entertained and amused!!! We would often miss doing our homework and sometime go to school sleepy or get up late and miss the school-bus - because we were listening to the Guest or the wife.

My mother tried to get us to think for ourselves and and do other useful activities and we thought that our parents are old fashioned.

well I thought that you may want to know what the name of this mysterious guest is?

Our guest's name is Television and his wife is PC and the children are MP3 and iPod!
