    People around the world are uploading videos

    to YouTube virtually every second of every day.

    Because they are all uploading different types

    of videos ("avi", "mov", "mpg", "wmv", etc.) in

    different lengths using different compressions,

    it can sometimes take YouTube's computers

    up to an incredible 2 days to process, convert

    and index every individual uploaded video into

    their universal format -- thus ensuring that any

    computer around the world could then access

    and play any YouTube video.

    That's the reason for any of these possibilities:

    -- you don't see your video under "My Videos";

    -- you see only the grey-&-white camera icon;

    -- you see your video thumbnail and all its info

    but when you play it, "this video is unavailable";

    -- your video doesn't show up in search results

    even if you type your username and video title.

    How long has it actually been since YouTube

    completely "received" your video?

    Once your video is finally in the public domain,

    there is always the possibility that YouTube's

    computer algorithms have yet figure out which

    20 other videos will be placed in the "Related

    Videos" section. Don't be surprised if that part

    doesn't show anything right away.

    Depending on the length of the video, it could take a while. Usually it should say Video Uploaded. Processing please wait.
