I presume you're directing your question to Obama. But why would he answer it (even if he read it)? His mantra is working out very well so far, and by explaining himself he risks being brought back down to the level of a mere politician. He wants to project a politically transcendent image. Besides, his younger voters can't handle the details and most are not interested, actually. "Hope" and "change" they want; even if they don't really know what it entails.
