what you might have to do is save the picture as a jpeg you can do this easily if you already have the file saved under a certain name go to file> save as. and in the save as i'd probabally modify the name of the file by adding something so that you know this is the jpeg file (just in case it doesnt turn out you'd want to still have the original) ok so then under the "File name" box there is a drop down list saying "save as type" you go there and then just select jpeg or anythign else you might want to save it as ( i usually use .jpeg though)
hope this helps :)
P.s. the link im leaving is a picture of what im trying to explain if you are having difficulty.

Copied the picture again, and this time, save it as a 24-bit Bitmap.

You need a different program, try downloading the trial of adobe elements, microsoft paint doesn't have the capabilities to save in high colour resolutions.
Did you have to edit the photo or did you just get it off the net?
if its just off the net... go to the original image put your cursor over the image right click the mouse and save picture as....

What is going on is the program can only handle so much. Try downloading a copy of Gimp It is free and a better program.

if you wanted to name your image: IMAGE, type this in the Save As field: "IMAGE.jpg"
Make sure you include the quotes.
In the Type field, select All types.

Try saving it as .jpg as this shouldn't distort the image atall, I hope this helps =)

probably because they don't have those exact colors programmed into paint, so all you have to do is program those colors

Change it to .PNG or .JPG/.JPEG
they have better quality
