Since Ron Paul has officially ended his campaign, who will former Paul supporters be casting votes for?
I have heard many say they will be writing-in Ron Paul, but in many states those votes aren't counted. Is anyone in support of Chuck Baldwin or Bob Barr? Or have any of you went back to the two main candidates, Obama and McCain?

As a Ron Paul supporter, my integrity is more important than electability...I refuse to sell my soul to the two party system (Obama/Democrats, and McCain/Republicans) that has caused so many problems to the country. Unlike millions of people, my conscience will actually haunt me for the next 4 years if I vote for the two party system because the next president is just about guaranteed to be as bad if not even worse than Bush. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results...so if you keep voting for the two party system don't expect different results....you'll keep getting more of the same. As Jay Leno once said...you get the government you deserve.
I am doing the right thing and voting for a third party candidate....I am undecided between Barr or Baldwin

Wish I could vote Ron Paul, but I recently discovered that my state does not allow write-in candidates if they lost in the primary, and if I write in Ron Paul, the vote will not be counted. So I will probably vote Libertarian. At least it won't be a vote for the CFR.
But now I have another crusade, which is ... WHAT the HELL?!!? What has happened to this country that a person cannot vote for ANY-damn-body they deem fit for office, in any state?
My local and state reps are going to get an earfull about this. In both ears. Talk about suffrage infringement. Grrrrrrr.

I don't think anyone really knows yet - I have heard about an equal number of people say write-in, Barr, and Baldwin. What I DO know is that we need an endorsement from him fast, so we can unite and keep the r3volution rolling into the general election.
I was a little upset when I heard Paul suspended his campaign, but like he said millions of times, it wasn't about him - it was about liberty. So I want to throw my support behind liberty, no matter whose name is on the ballot.

If I had the freedom to vote for whom I wanted to, I would cast my vote for Chuck Baldwin (Constitution Party). Alas, I am unable to do so as the State of Georgia has ballot access laws that make it completely impossible for a third party candidate to be listed on the ballot.
Since the latest ballot access law was passed, a total of zero third party candidates have appeared on the general election ballot.
Georgia has had fewer presidential candidates on the ballot in the last 30 years than any other state. Georgia's state definition of "political party" is a group that receives 20% of the vote for president in the entire USA, or 20% for Governor of Georgia. No party other than the Democrats and Republicans has met that definition in Georgia since 1912 (when the Progressive "Bull Moose" Party got 27% for president in the entire USA). Even when the American Party carried Georgia in the electoral college in 1968, that still didn't qualify the American Party, since even though it got over 50% in Georgia, it "only" got 13% in the entire USA. And no third party candidate for Governor of Georgia has polled 20% since 1898.
I will unfortunately be relegated to cast my vote for my second choice (which is truthfully my third choice after Paul) and vote for Bob Barr, whose libertarian party is grandfathered in on the ballot already.

I will vote either Chuck Baldwin or Bob Barr...doesn't matter to me - no candidate can match Ron's honesty and integrity and It will just be a protest vote.
Obama and McCain don't do anything for me at all - I could care less which one of those two wins. Although I am hoping for an Obama win so that we don't get stuck with another fake conservative for 8 years. Obama wins means that in 4 years the GOP will have to get its as in gear and nominate someone that is actually conservative.

Anyone who thinks RP supporters will vote for McCain or Obama does not understand why people supported Paul in the first place...
MCCAIN AND OBAMA ARE MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS. WE ARE TIRED OF HAVING OUR COUNTRY RULED BY ANTI-AMERICAN GLOBALIST TRASH.
Millions of Americans are simply not falling for the two-party scam anymore. Both parties are controlled by globalists. We know this. We are TRYING to explain it to the rest of you!
ONCE AGAIN: BOTH PARTIES PLAY FOR THE SAME TEAM. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!
We ARE going to abolish the Federal Reserve and restore the Constitution. Any candidate who isn't with us is against us. Now is the time to choose sides, better join the Revolution or get out of our way!

A great question as Paul and Huckabee were still drawing 27% of the republican vote as late as Indiana.
Do not take the Paul voters for granted. They are fiscal conservatives and anti-war republicans. My father is a white anti-war republican. He is voting for Obama.
I do not presume to say that they will mostly vote for anyone, but do not be suprised if you see noticable defections from McCain to the anti-war Obama.

I'd like to own up to a correction. It was Pennsylvania (April 22nd) where McCain lost 27% to Huckabee and Paul.
To be fair though, in red state Idaho (May 27th) McCain was unable to capture 30% of the GOP vote.

well, it doesn't generally take much to register for a write in vote. In California, all you have to do is file a letter asking the secretary of state to count the votes. All the same, I will be looking at Chuck Baldwin and Barr. And even Nader. However, if there is a way to have it counted, I'd like to vote for Ron Paul.
