Greenbay and Aaron? Super bowl And Aaron?

Well, if Aaron gets to the Super Bowl, it will be because the Green Bay TEAM gets there.

Many teams have been to the Super Bowl with good but not great QBs.

I really don't think the Packers will miss a beat with Aaron at QB.

They have all the ingredients to make it to the Super Bowl.

And as far as Eli Manning goes, the Giants last year are a perfect example of a team getting to the Super Bowl despite an average (at best) QB.

Why does everybody think that Eli Manning is such a good QB? Do you realize that he was the #25 ranked QB in the NFL last year. In other words there were only 7 QBs in the NFL that were worse than him. This was actually a good year for him also. His defense won the Super Bowl but its tradition to give the QB the Super Bowl MVP. So is Eli better than Favre because the Giants won?

I think Aaron Rodgers will be a better QB than Eli Manning. The difference is the Packers don't have the best D-line in the NFL. The fact that the Giants sacked Brady five times and held the best offense in NFL history to a mere 14 points was what won the Super Bowl. If the Giants had the Packers defense, the Patriots would scored more points and I don't think Manning's offense could have kept up. The Giants won because their defense allowed them to win. When you have a defense that is just relentless like the Giants did, ANY QB can win the Super Bowl. Just ask Trent Dilfer.

ROBERT K: I bleed Packers green and gold. Actually if you look at QB Ratings Brett Favre had the highest QB Rating of any QB in the entire NFL Playoffs. Manning didn't even throw a TD against the Packers. Again, the Giants spectacular defense and running game won the Super Bowl not Eli Manning. With the 7th worst QB Rating in the NFL the Giants defense is the only reason why Eli Manning got to the playoffs in the 1st place. You can say all you want about nothing matters until the playoffs, but Eli Manning was LUCKY to make the playoffs. His defense was 90% of why that happened. Got that buddy. That is well supported fact, so I could care less what you think. Eli Manning is NOT a good QB. He's just another Trent Dilfer. Favre managed to stay in the NFC Title game despite Ryan Grant only running for 29 yards. I guarantee if the Giants only ran for 29 yards against the Packers it would have been a bloodbath. Take away Manning's ELITE defense and running game and he won't even make the playoffs in the 1st place. If Trent Dilfer can win a Super Bowl with an ELITE defense any QB can. Eli Manning isn't anything special.

He himself put ZERO points on the board for the Giants. You got that. He completed a lower % of passes than Favre in that game and threw ZERO TDs. His RBs and defense won the game for him. Eli Manning has NEVER CARRIED a team. Any QB could have won the Super Bowl with the way the Giants were playing down the homestretch. We will see what Eli can do without the best defense in the NFL and a Top 5 running game. You don't know football man. You don't know football. Are you saying Eli Manning is a better QB than Favre. Favre wasn't supported by 130 yards rushing like Manning was. You better stop now before you humiliate yourself. If you know anything about football you know that a QB faces like 3x more pressure when the running game isn't stepping up to the plate. Eli Manning didn't have that problem when he played the Packers. Favre did. The Packers couldn't run the ball and only had 28 yards rushing. The Giants relentless defense shut it down. The Giants DEFENSE won that game not Eli Manning.

Its not like you aren't biased anyway. You are obviously a Giants fan and defending your QB beyond logic. Probably just a bandwagon jumper. You have made it pretty obvious. You asked another question about why Eli doesn't get respect and most people basically said the same thing that I did. That is, the Giants defense got him to the Super Bowl. It's true get over it. If the Giants had a mediocre defense they would have been lucky to be a .500 team with Manning's poor regular season play. In that case what happens in the playoffs doesn't even matter because the Giants wouldn't have made the playoffs. A truly elite QB is one that can lead both good and bad teams to the playoffs. Eli's brother Peyton led a team with the #21 defense to a Super Bowl victory. Now that is a good QB. Just about any QB can lead a team with a Top 10 defense and Top 5 running game to the Super Bowl. That was my point. IMO, Eli Manning isn't half the QB that his brother is or Favre was.

I really dont think it matters what happens untill you are in the playoffs, you have both been blinded by stats did you see him choke like homo? NO! Arron Rodgers will do just fine he is gonna have some bad games but in the end he is gonna be a good QB.

Aaron Rodgers will be fine supported by the great offense around him in Green Bay. As for Eli Manning; are you serious? The guy just isn't consistent; Super Bowl MVP or not. He's either on or way, way off. If you would like to see another quarterback in Green Bay, pick Peyton Manning, Tony Romo, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, or at least somebody better than Eli.

Speaking Packerfan to Packerfan, I dont think that Eli Manning would be a good fit for our team. Rogers has been with us for 3 years and knows the system. Eli Manning does not know the Packers System and you never know ,maybe Aaron is Superbowl bound and if not this year, hopefully in the upcoming years.

I think Aaron will do a good job in Green Bay, he has been there 3 years and knows the offense quite well. He played a good game against Dallas last year, but needs to stay healthy. I think he will lead the team to the division title, but the superbowl may be a few years away. I hope they get there this year, but it is highly unlikely. GO PACK

aaron is a good fit in green bay because he already know the system and has a good relationship with the players on the team. eli manning isnt as good as ppl think he is. just because he won a superbowl doesnt automatically make him amazing. eli isnt coming to green bay because the giants wouldnt let him go

Hes a Superbowl back-up quarterback. The packers are going to need some great trades in key positions to get to the Superbowl with Aaron as QB.

Eli will most likely never be allowed to leave the Giants.

I have sincere doubts that Aaron will be an NFL capable QB.
