There is one thing that all parents teach? Asked this 3 days a go and still no correct answer! Lets' try again

Is the answer lying because humans have found no wat of surviving without doing this....

Ok, let me think this out.

I have taught my children how to do this thing when they matured.

However, when they were younger, I told them that it was wrong for them to do this thing.

You and I both know that this can apply to many things.

However, it cannot apply to many things when you restrict it to something that we cannot survive without.

Our children could survive, or could live without dying, by never having sex. So this cannot be the right answer.

Our children could survive without lying. Our survival does not depend upon lying, as we can survive by being honest.

Survival depends upon eating, on breathing, on drinking water, upon having proper clothing for the weather, upon a certain amount of knowledge, and upon having the means to have the necessities of life provided.

We would never teach our children not to eat, not to breath, not to drink water, or not to learn. These could not be that to which you refer.

One might teach a child that it is wrong to disobey their parents.

However, when the child matures to an adult, the child must stand on his own 2 feet and is no longer responsible to obey the orders laid down by the parent.

For instance, my son is now an adult and has his own home, and family. If I tried to interfere and tell him that he has to do something, in many cases, it would be wrong for him to listen to me, as a parent.

The man leaves his parents, and cleaves to his own wife. The wife leaves her parents, and cleaves to her own husband.

While children still at home, they were taught to respect and obey their parents. Now, in order to have their own homes, they must follow their own path, and stand on their own, to a great extent.

As parents, we set the example before them of how to be parents, but while they are children, we teach them how to be our obedient children.

I cannot come up with any other thing that this might refer to that fits all your parameters.

parents teach what they have learned from their entire life

for mothers house keeping, cooking, gardening is part of education for most mothers

for fathers what they have achieved in their past the knoledge that they have even it's good or bad can be taught to a child...

are you wandering what's the kids attitude is the mirror of their parents....

Every parent teaches that, good or bad and we couldn't survive for long without learning that great human skill, lol, this just must be the correct answer
